Obviously Wilder KO'd Ortiz in sensational fashion, however he was doing so while coming from behind. Fury on the other hand seemed to struggle with a fringe contender but once he settled, won going away quite easily and once again pushed through adversity.
I'm curious what people think was the better or most impressive performance? Losing every round or struggling with a fringe contender?
I read the above paragraph back and it sounds derogatory. I really don't mean to discredit, i'm just saying it as it is. I think both of these guys are flawed but I also have them as 1 and 2 in the division. Both are undefeated and I'm really quite excited to see how it plays out.
(I have Fury winning)
Wilder looked like crap against a even less on point Ortiz then last time which is why he got an earlier stoppage.
Fury took on a style that doesn't make an easy fight a tall counter puncher who moves around very well and has stamina .
Whos ahead ? Well its obviously Fury because hes fighting a guy who doesn't throw in much volume and gives him openings ,the Wallin fight prepares Fury much more then Wilder getting out boxed because that's nothing new. And if that Ortiz lasted 7 rounds Fury can last 12 ,though I suspect he can stop wilder to .
fury already lasted 12 you idiot....good god you are such a biased POS.....you couldnt be more moronic
Its not about last fight as you only need to train as hard as you think your opponent is. Thurman might not have been great his fight before Pac. But that's because he weren't fighting pac. THe Thurman who fought pac was not the one who fougth the fight before.
The fury before the wilder fight wasn't the one wilder fought.
I'm sure that exists within a lot of boxers, though i'm not sure if Fury took Wallin lightly or not. I think Fury can simply be clipped sometimes and in this case, it burst a slice across his face for whatever reason. I am curious to see what kind of shape Fury comes into the ring though
