Roman Gonzalez vs Kai Yafai

Hoping for a good fight! Really looking forward for this one. Rooting for Gonzales, I think highly of his skills but he definitely has lost some speed. Got a great knockout over Moises Fuentes but was noticeably slower imo. I still think he should have won the first bout against Rungvisai. And even right now, Rungvisai is the only person he has a loss to I had Rungvisai 114-112 in the first fight.

I can't wait for this one, big Gonzales fan. I'm not sure how he's not the favorite though.

Someone said the exact same thing to me when I brought an almost identical thread up about why David Price was 2-1 underdog to beat Dave Allen. I couldn't understand it and laid £200 on Price to win £400. They are wrong sometime. I felt they were then and I feel they are now. Price had some bad KO losses, but nothing to suggest Dave Allen would beat him, and as it proved as Price totally outclassed him and was never in danger. Found 3 other books 2 of them have Arafat as the favourite but with lower odds The 3rd one has Roman as a favourite but not by much

Yafai can cut the ring, I think that's a really underrated skill he has. Sort of feel Chocolatito ain't really the cash out type of guy though and I expect him to become champion again come Saturday.

How do you see this fight going? I just checked the odd (in the UK) and was surprised to see that Yafai is the favorite! I strongly fancy Gonzales to win. What do you all think? And what are the betting odds in America? Just checked and best odds were at five dimes Yafai -170 Gonzalez + 150 Just not sure if it’s American money or Canadian Leaning towards American

Have you seen much of Yafai? Seen him 5-6 times and he's no more than a half decent domestic fighter I think he has decent technical skills he's not best defensive fighter but he sticks to basics pretty well. I still pick Gonzalez but he is older and more vulnerable now.

Yafai fought nothimg but bums. Gonzalez is an ATG his resume speaks for himself. GONZALEZ VIA KO I agree. I checked the betting yesterday and was stunned that Yafai was the favorite.

Well I think Roman can outwork him soundly but it's just whether or not he can take the clubbing punches at the age he is. If he does come in as the underdog, i'll be singing my x5 away on that! Where you from? He's underdog in the UK 5/4, which is place £100 win £125 (£225 return) I don't know how much desire Roman has left, but Yafai has never impressed me and I thought he was soundly beaten by Israel Gonzalez but got a gift decision, which is always a worry, but I think Roman can beat him so badly that they couldn't gift Yafai.
