Canelos coach says Charlo is EASY WORK!

I stand by what I said. I'm not surprised that they haven't fought. There isn't enough incentive for Canelo to fight a hard hitting fighter like Lemieux flawed as he is. I think you should go back and reread my initial post. You are basically echoing what I said and yes Lemieux's power is a consideration. Then I guess we stand by what we say, no matter how hard or not lemiuex hits

Charlo is garbage nothing but a tune up for nelo, don’t even know why people think this fight will be competitive, until I see charlo beat someone that is worth a $h!t he needs to shut his mouth

See that’s where your wrong tony, canelo has arguably beaten fighters that hit harder than lemiuex, so I don’t think lemiuex lack of consideration boils down to how hard he hits, it’s more the fact that he doesn’t add to the legacy in any way at all, and he doesn’t add to the bank either... Maybe; I’ve said this before in other threads. But to me it’s either one or the other scenario 1. He is very confident in his ability to keep winning and keep his title there for turning down a fight now will only make him more money when the fight is offered in the future 2. Charlo is ducking I personally think it’s the first scenario but that’s a risky one because by losing his 0 he loses his belt and loses some 0’s from that offer too.... grab your popcorn I honestly think he is just getting bad advice...like Wilder turning down that DAZN offer...Haymon/PBC (and honestly I have no real allegiance to or issue with any promoter) don't want to help DAZN succeed in anyway...it is a war going on with them and DAZN...DAZN isn't really engaging them in the war but Haymon and PBC see DAZN as a huge threat so don't want to do any business with them imho. I actually like Charlo...he is not the most talented boxer but has some good physical traits and would be a problem for anyone around 160...the proverbial puncher's chance...but he and his brother are similar to me. Unless they can just dominate a guy physically...they will get outboxed all day/everyday imho...so expecting 160 Charlo to dominate every time out and really raising his profile...idk I just really don't see it/get it...if he was going to be a star, it would have been happening by now as well.

I think Canelo is the worst matchup for Charlo at or around 160...but at the same time, if Charlo really turned down an offer from him, and Andrade too, what is he doing? We need to start to see some moves being made from 147-175...there is like stagnation in all these divisions are far as fights being made maybe he wants to cherry pick ggg 😂

Help me out here. According to you and others, Tank avoids Loma its because Tank knows Loma will beat him. Ok, I get that. When Canelo avoids Charlo, it is because he destroys Charlo easy. For anyone in this thread did you see ODh's announcement today that Smith turned down an offer? Notice that when Murata and Smith negotiations fell through ODH announced this to the media immediately. Yet with Charlo, he waited a about a year to tell us. ODH, Canelo nor Gomez, also made no mention of this when the story about the franchise/emeritus championship designation was reported in the media. That is very strange. Maybe ODH just forgot to go to the media when Charlo allegedly refused the offer and now he is clean and sober and doesn't forget anymore.

Why do you keep blabbing about some “reporter.” Which “reporter” are you referring to? And article? A video? A Boxing Scene writer? Assuming you’re referring to a on the spot request for proof is Oscar going to pull an offer right out of his pocket? Who’s the special “reporter” that deserves this? Come on ODH isn't some rookie. You make a claim to a reporter in an interview you should have proof because even the worst reporter is going to ask a follow up. He didn't. It makes NO sense why Canelo would voluntarily go to the WBC to create a situation to give Charlo a belt when he is such an easy win. There is no proof ODH offered anything nor is there proof Charlo turned it down. Imagine now that Devreychenko is Charlo's mando that he gives Deverychenko the belt and then I log on and say he would be easy work anyway so its ok. Because Harrison recently just said on the boxing voice then he only wants big fights here forward, not unknown PBC names. That he doesn’t want to give B side opponents a PAY to “build off his name.” In other words, many fighters think this way, like Canelo. You only deserve what you’re worth. Haymon knew this and yet still threw the PREMIUM request or goes to Purse Bid. In fear that GBP and Canelo might vacate the belt, as they did before, Sulaiman gave the Franchise Belt. YOu still insist that offers are fake. Lol And yes, Charlo would be easy, and you’re not going to give a premium PER HAYMON’s request. You GET what Canelo offers you. If he was so easy Canelo would've made the title defense and got it out the way. Instead he gave up the belt. If Canelo were on another network other than dazn, you'd have a different opinion.

I still wouldn't mind seeing it, even the people who HATE the Charlo's wouldn't they want to see Canelo shut him up? :dunno: I think Charlo would be a great Villain for Canelo to try and take down that is a very marketable fight
