Why would he fight him again though? It would just be excuse after excuse once Spence stop him and break his eye socket again.

Brook performance looked like crap today against an overmatched and limited opponent. All of the top dogs at 154 would beat him.

brook has had his face broken twice, once on each side. crawford will rebreak his face. 154 doesnt matter. crawford isnt a small welterweight.

Let Brook try to win any world title at 154 instead of wishing Crawford would move up to 154 where he is too small for the that weight. If Crawford does move up to 154 it would be to fight one of the current 154 pound champions and not Brook who is not a world champion now and may never again be a world champion. Brook can KO this hand picked guy but that does not mean the prime Brook is back as good as ever. I don't think he is anywhere near the fighter he once was. He has been rated near the top at 154 and could havehad a world title shot anytime in the last two years just by asking for one, He could get a title shot right now just by asking because he is still a big name and brings in good money. But he lets time pass him by and only fights less than once a year He is just getting older not better. He should just try to win a title a 154 in his next fight within a few months and quit wasting away what is left of his career.

I don't really mean anything by it. Quite a few people seem to be saying Brook looks "done" after today and while he isn't what he was a few years ago I don't see it. That being said time/wear is ironically the deciding factor here to me. A couple years ago I would have probably favored Brook here at 154, but now I'm inclined to see Bud edging it after some good work from Kell. I was thinking about this the other day though...it's a pretty good fight, more intriguing at this weight for sure imo Can’t argue with any of this. I’m not a huge brook fan or anything I just like what he brings to the table both skill wise and physically for bud since I’ve heard that idea thrown out there. But you could also be right but I feel like he has something left in the tank

Brook is not an easy fight for anyone. He was holding his own against GGG and Spence until his face got broken. I’m sure Khan knows this since he keeps ducking him. I still give Bud the edge by comfortable UD or TKO in late rounds.

Don't get too carried away because Brook beat a cherry pick. He knocked the guy out with one hard left jab. Good tough fighters don't get knocked cold by a jab. If Brook beats any 154 pound champion or any 154 pound contender rated by Ring magazine among the top 10 that would be good but he has yet to do that. If Brook had more belief in himself he would have fought a top guy we had all heard of. None of us ever heard of this guy and he was supposed to lose and make brook look good.

He'd give Bud a fight as he would and does just about anyone, but this feels like the opposite extreme from the "Brook is dog meat now" brigade. Crawford late stoppage imo.
