UK treated Tyson Fury like an outcast because he was a gypsy, USA embraced the fact that he’s a gypsy that doesn’t give a ****. Best thing Fury did was move to USA.
Hence nice to see Fury doing well now and earning millions along the way.
what you read on a boxing forum doesn't represent fact, it's just opinion and conjecture!
Yeah no ***** Sherlock.....
Thank you for that stunning insight.
Nope, the vast majority of boxing fans in the UK are casual football fans who have been brainwashed by Fast Eddie into thinking the likes of Anthony Joshua and Tony Bellew are elite fighters, whereas in reality, they're a bunch of bums.
The only elite fighters in the UK are Tyson Fury and Josh Taylor, both of whom are non-matchroom fighters.
That's just an ignorant viewpoint based on your perception of all things 'true' on the internet... what you read on a boxing forum doesn't represent fact, it's just opinion and conjecture!

Eh??? such an ignorant viewpoint. Boxing fans in the UK are exactly that - fans of boxing; and they're not really different to other boxing fans throughout the rest of the world. UK fans are more likely to know more about (and support) UK fighters in exactly the same way that US fans are with US fighters and Mexican fans are with Mexican fighters. The the love/hate relationship that Eddie Hearn has with boxing fans is nothing short of comical. I'm not particularly a fan of his but he's got lots people talking about boxing and by all accounts (well that of his fighters at least) he pays fighters well, so what's the problem?... Apart from the fact he may not promote a fighter that you follow or may not be from your country, that is...
Have a word with yourself man.

And Americans dgaf about Gypsies. We know as much about Gypsies as we do about witches, if you can fight come on downWell said. All about the heart of someone.
I'm glad that Fury has moved to America. UK fans are mostly Eddie Hearn/Matchroom zombies.

Agreed, and history will remember him largely as an American attraction and fighter, he's been adopted here, due to a great personality, the heart of a lion, and intelligent marketing. A natural star. The first true natural star since ODLH.
Fury is the golden goose. The cash cow. The rematch will be 4 mil buys 2 mil gate not including overseas. This is the thrilla in Manila of our era.At least we got the rematch pretty quick between Fury/Wilder.Its what boxing needs eg "2 top prime fighters facing each other" to help put in my view where boxing belongs eg number 1 sport in the world.

Not got a problem with Fury personally. I'm not into loud-mouth fighters. Never have but that's just my preference. I can't knock people for being fans because the guy is a great boxer in an era of OK Heavyweight punchers.
I read a decent article in the Radio times (of all places) and the writer there said that its like Fury doesn't know himself. He presents so much BS to the public that he's forgotten which parts are an act and which parts are the real Tyson Fury. I feel sorry for the guy if thats true.
Wilder by KO, 8/9. Fury flies back to Morecambe.I think Fury has turned a hill though due to his faith.Hence he's always been religious and his psychologist attributes this to his saving grace in why he never took his own life. That and his children and never wants to go that dark place again.
Likewise its heartwarming when you read this by Wilder :
“Like said, you have to nail him to a coffin for him to stay down… And I love a fighter like that.”

I still have Fury edging it though.

Fury managed to time his comeback and use the mental health route when it was flavour of the week but I think he'd already done too much to damage his iamge with the UK. Talk about Jews, Women and ****sexuals is literally in the headlines here and it goes down like a shit sandwich. I think its only a matter of time that he self-destructs over in the US too. No offence to our cousins across the pond but they are too forgiving and love someone when they are on top. If Fury loses by KO to Wilder, fans will run to the hills and say I told you so, then Fury does one Oprah-style-show and all is forgotten; Fury was the victim. Stereotyping I know, just my perception.

Only a true scum bag sells a fight on the premise that he'll donate his entire purse to charity and then talks in riddles when asked if he did it or not saying stuff like "I'm not going to say I didn't do it for praise" and also mentions about doing it possibly in future by building housing.
Well why mention it in the first place?
I wouldn't be surprised if he made the whole mental illness thing up because it sounds better than him just enjoying his money.
I thought I saw that he actually did this. Did some charity event in Cardiff or something. Could be wrong.
The big gypo has got a new 3 part documentary starting next week in a primetime slot on ITV in the UK - https://www.itv.com/presscentre/ep1week7/tyson-fury-gypsy-kingThanks for sharing the link. Will definitely check this out.
This sounds terrible, but it's generally accepted that Irish traveller communities operate outside the law.
.It is what it is though .I remember as well when I was young there were problems with travellers camping illegally by a school leaving lots of trash/defecating wherever.
Like anything though I dont think you can tar them all with the same brush but there probably is a higher percentage of this group that are deviant compared to other social groups.
I accept Fury has bipolar and swings between moods etc explaining some of the above but it is what it is, the guy turns heel and face more times than the big showThanks for sharing.I didnt realise some of these things Fury done .I hope his faith keeps improving him though.
Nice post thanks for the background info.Thanks.Its just to often people are quick to criticise others without having been in their shoes.Hence look at Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweathers background. Real serious stuff .
Hence from studying our personality's are a mix of genes/environment though some people have more propensity to go astray than others. Its these that need harsher discipline which often boxing provides.Hence as your more likely aware gives a outlet for their energy and calms them down.

They can bring violence, home-robberies and defraudation with them when moving to a new place. Also domestic abuse is rife within these communities – stats here
I've had several personal and business troubles with travellers and each instance they had moved onto property illegally and/or threatened unprovoked assault. I accept this is likely the bad bunch who are the most visible, but shockingly these were large groups of families with lots of young children.
