Bob Arum had a near monopoly on the WBA and when Don King started gaining some control in the WBA, Bob Arum jumped in bed with the new IBF and tried to help put it on the map so he could have easy access to world titles. Bob Arum is the #1 reason we ended up with three world titles.
When Don King started gaining some control in the IBF, Bob Arum jumped in bed with the new IBA and tried to help put it on the map so he could have easy access to world titles. Only when the owned of the IBA died did Bob Arum give up on trying to establish the IBA.
When Bob gave up on trying to establish the IBA, he jumped in bed with the WBO so he could have easy access to world titles. He's the #1 reason we ended up with four world titles and has had a near monopoly of the WBO ever since.
But now Al Haymon is slowly trying to sink his fingers into the WBO. WBO fights have slowly crept back onto Showtime PBC broadcasts and suddenly PBC fighters are #1 in the WBO ratings at 147 and 154 pounds, PBC's signature divisions.
If Haymon begins to wrestle away control of the WBO from Bob Arum, history teaches us that Arum will go prop up an unrecognized title and try to convince the public it's a world title so he can have easy access to world titles.
So how long until Top Rank is suddenly featuring the IBO?
He ghosted Eddie Hearn without even making a counter offer for the Andrade fight. That's not a **** deal, that's a duck.
Charlo is being lined up for opponents rated much higher than Andrade. Nobody cares about Andrade, which is why Hearn is so desperate. Charlo is the A-side, not Andrade. A-sides don't cross the street to fight B-sides. No matter how many meaningless offers Hearn makes. You guys just have no understanding of how this business works.
Are you on meth? The one getting 20x higher gates, getting 10x bigger paydays is irrelevant, not the bum getting lower ratings than women's boxing?
Canelo is unlikely to fight at middleweight again any time soon, if ever. He's in a different division now. Charlo is becoming the man at middleweight. Canelo didn't want to fight him and left the division. Yes, Canelo is irrelevant. He's elsewhere now.
Career high means nothing if it's a **** deal.

You also prove your bias because you don't seem to have an issue with King and Haymon having some of these same orgs as puppets.
Geez I wonder what those two have in common that Arum doesn't?
I didn't complain about Arum using the WBA as his puppet, just as King was using the WBC as his puppet. There were two dominant promoters, two belts, and they each had one.
The problem is that when Arum loses control of an existing belt, he just finds a new one. You guys complain about there being so many belts, but Arum is the main culprit. He's the #1 reason we have four belts instead of two.
And if he'd gotten his way with the IBA, we'd have five.
Don't even get me started on his plan to prop up the UBC.
Charlo is the one turning down career high paydays.
Career high means nothing if it's a **** deal. It was a mandatory fight. Fight or get stripped. Canelo chose get stripped. Charlo is the champion now. Canelo is irrelevant.
Never heard of Gaymon.
When a fight if mandatory, every reasonable person would say the person who refused to fight is the coward.
The fact that you feel the person willing to fight is the coward says a lot more about you than it says about Charlo.
Charlo is the one turning down career high paydays. Cowardly Lions Only.
Keep playing dumb. You know who Gaymon is just like you know Charlo is a coward.

You mean like Gaymon and the PBC belt?
