... 2000-2019!...
... Why don't we try this one instead?... it's more fun, I guess! :)
... just who do you have at #1 after two decades of this century?... I think this must be easier to assess... :)
You know what is weird, Manny is considered a bad win for Floyd because he had been through wars. Yet Barrera, who had also been through wars, is seen as absolute prime.
Your comparison is not even close at all. Barrera was like 28 when manny beat him up. 25-30 is the average age of prime fighters.
Manny was bested by floyd when he was 36, in a sport where offensive fighters aged way faster than defensive ones as history has proven. Manny already planked in the process as well. Barrerra’s wars are not close to manny’s wars at the points you are comparing.
Barrera wasn’t in decline when he was 28 looool that’s why that was an upset to begin with.
Pac was in decline starting 2012 so the comparison is not close at all. This is facepalming at the very least.
It was a bad win for floyd because it happened 6 years too late and the way he won left much to be desired.
If Corrales is not floyd’s best win against an absolute prime fighter then who?
Cotto? Too old and battered by pac and margo already
Canelo? 23 yrs old and it was a catchweight
Pac? 6 years too late and already planked way from his prime easy to tell by eye.
Mosley? Dude was 38 and gassed after 4 rounds.
We can critic pac’s resume as well, before you call me a hater.
The only wins both have that didn’t have asterisk on it are corrales and barrera.
I think that’s the only argument that goes against floyd when it comes to be named as goat.
To compare SRL best wins against absolute prime fighters are duran, hagler, hearns and benetiz.
So floyd’s corrales just pale in comparison.
If floyd won against prime pac at 29, prime cotto at 28.. then he’d be my goat.
Then proceeded to school canelo at full 154, and made weight at 144 against marquez, then that’d help him too.
I didn’t see Floyd Mayweather move up to cruiserweight and lose a disputed decision either.
Floyd easily dominated Pac head to head and Pac had 5 losses, 2 draws, and 3 gifts versus Marquez in that span.
Floyd's wins:
Berto
Pacquiao
Maidana twice
Canelo
Guerrero
Cotto
Ortiz
Mosley
Marquez
Hatton
De La Hoya
Baldomir
Judah
Mitchell
Gatti
Bruseles
Corley
N'Dou
Sosa
Castillo twice
Chavez
Hernandez
Corrales
Augustus
Vargas
Nobody else even deserves consideration. Pac had 5 losses and 2 draws in the same time span.
Floyd’s best win against an absolute prime fighter is Corrales.
Pacquiao was against barrera.

Barrera had come back from retirement because he lost twice to Junior Jones. He was absolutely prime?
We’re doing it by weight and not weight class?
Mayweather moved up in weight 24 pounds in his career.
Pacquiao moved up 42 pounds in his career.
So cruiserweight was overstating it. I never saw Mayweather lose a fight at 175.
Moving up 42 lbs when you come in as a teenager isn't surprising. You are still growing and continue to grow until you are 21. Someone that starts his career at age 20 isn't going to grow as much.
You wouldn't need to see him fight at 175 either because he took care of himself. He didn't blow up in weight like Duran or Broner in between fights.
Just cut the BS and put the resumes side by side.
Nah that’s a weak arse resume.
Maidana? U mean the guy Khan whooped right?
LMAO!!! And Floyd fought him twice! Hahahaha
Neither Bradley nor Thurman got whooped by Khan, that doesn’t say much about beating Maidana, whom Floyd actually lost to.
Floyd’s resume for 2010’s smells like hot arse.
Manny’s is much better, much more thorough.
You clearly haven’t watched Maidana-Khan.
You listed Algieri FFS😂😂
You also listed Broner who literally got whooped by Maidana😂😂
I think you’re forgetting Pac’s 2010’s resume also featured losses to Marquez, Bradley, Horn and Mayweather.
I’m a Pacquiao fan and can’t stand Floyd, but Mayweather evidently had a better 2010-19. Only a delusional fanboy would disagree.
You fanboys are pathetic man...
I’d take Manny over Floyd any day but in reality Floyd easily had the better 2010’s.
Floyd’s dominant wins over Canelo and Pacquiao surpass anything on Pacs resume in the 2010’s. Add to that Mosley, Guerrero who were both ranked inside the top 10 P4P at the time Floyd beat them. And then Cotto and Maidana x2.

Pacquiao, because Pacquiao defeated prime ATG's at their best weight class on his resume while Floyd doesn't even have a prime A-level fighter in his resume.
Pacquiao lasted longer, had fought better competition, and had beaten Prime Fighters and especially fought through the entire 2 decades and kept on achieving things that had never been achieved, the first man to become a 7 and 8 division champion while being also the first man to become a lineal champion at 5 different weight classes while also being the Oldest welterweight champion in history, out achieving his contemporary of Floyd and Mosley by 2 years (Floyd and Mosley was respectively the oldest welterweight champions in the world but Pacquiao broke that record at 40.) and Pacquiao is the first fighter in the entire history of boxing to be a champion in 4 different decades out lasting all his fellow all time greats, that is just unheard of.
Floyd Mayweather would have been the greatest of his generation had he fought Prime fighters like Paul Williams, Prime Manny, Prime Margarito, but he settled waiting them out till they are out of the picture.
Floyd's best win this decade is a recently KO'ed Pacquiao, Canelo is a good win, but Floyd draining Canelo to death at 152 hurts his win.
So Pacquiao for me, on the basis that Pacquiao achieved more than Floyd and fought better competition, there's no better win than a Prime Marco Antonio Barrera who was on a tear coming off with the wins of Hamed, Ayala, Kelly, Morales etc. etc.
That is why, Pacquiao is the greatest of his generation IMO.
A joke, Manny beat prime ATGs at their best weight, what a crock of horse sht ! and then you mention Floyds only CW .
Gee you people a so delusional .
I didn’t see Floyd Mayweather move up to cruiserweight and lose a disputed decision either.
Why would you need to see him move up to cruiserweight?
I mean don’t be one of those dude so desperate to make manny better that you equate moving up 4 lbs with 10-15 lbs.
Just cut the BS and put the resumes side by side.
2010’s yes.
Bradley x2
Márquez
Mosley
Margarito
Clottey
Broner
Thurman
Algieri
Matthysse
Rios
Vs.
Tenshin
Mcgregor
Josie Harris
Guerrero
Maidana
Green Nelo
Past prime PAC
Past prime & battered Cotto
Yeah, Pac has the better resume OVERALL and in the 2010’s.

What's Brock Lesnar's record like in the UFC? Its not that great is it, there is a reason he decided to not continue fighting. Besides if you excel at one thing i.e. wrestling in Brocks case why wouldn't you use that? That is why MMA is a far harder sport to deal with because if you lack that element you could easily get twatted about. There is more to consider and the risk of losing is far greater hence why legends like Mike Tyson consider MMA a better sport for viewing.
Let’s put it into context.
Brock Lesnar won the world title in 4 fights after being a national amateur wrestling champion.
That’s the equivalent of a fighter winning the golden gloves or US Nationals, having 3 fights then beating the winner of Wilder/Fury. It would just never happen as elite level boxing is at a much higher standard.
I like MMA I think it’s a very exciting sport and is continuing to grow but it’s doesn’t have nowhere near the same depth as boxing. And nor should it, as it’s been in existence around 30 years as opposed to well over a century.
None of them 3 even come close... Jon Jones really?😂😂
I love might mouse but the calibre of his competition is nowhere near the level that Floyd and Pac consistently fought.
MMA doesn’t have a higher ceiling in terms of skill either. Brock Lesnar (who I’m a huge fan of) won a HW title within 4 fights. I think that says it all. It’s much harder to reach elite level in boxing.

Poll added...
I didn’t see Mayweather win titles from 122-154 in the past two decades.
I like and respect Manny but that 154 title has to be the most nonsense gift of a title to be ever won. It's crazy how everyone just turns a blind eye to it but if Floyd had been gifted it in that scenario it would be used to discredit him even further.
If you based it off google trends, Manny Pacquiao was actually the most dominant fighter of the 2000s.
https://i.imgur.com/djdbTMs.jpg
Even in 2004, howeve miniscule the lead is, Manny Pacquiao was googled more than Floyd (I suspect it was the Nov 2003 stoppage of Marco Antonio Barrera; arguably at that time the #3 P4P fighter, just behind Hopkins and RJJ)
The only time Floyd peaked over Manny in the 2000s was when he fought Dela Hoya. But that was it.
You could actually see the trend that Floyd only started taking over AFTER Pacquiao's consecutive losses (Bradley & Marquez) circa 2012
Floyd's two giant peaks in the 2010s was in 2015 and 2017.
Based on this trends, I wouldn't blame either fighter if they fought McGregor. The amount of fuccin attention it gets beats even their fight in 2015.
The best argument I can give is, Pacquiao and Mayweather carried boxing for the past two decades. They were so BIG in boxing, they have their own mini-mes(protege). Adrien broner was dubbed the next Floyd Mayweather. Nonito Donaire was dubbed as the next Manny Pacquiao.
... at 145 (back in Dec 2008) ODLH was practically as dead as a dead duck...
The weight cut definitely hurt him but let’s not forget that Pac went into that fight as a considerable underdog against a guy who had given Floyd a lot of trouble around 18 months prior.
It’s easy to over analyse stuff with hindsight.
