Instead of demanding that Bud should fight Porter why don't we demand....

I get it. What I don't get is why we're so happy to follow along with it. Why we take an active part in rooting for promoters plans. It's like we're happy to get crumbs when what we really should be asking for is bread. I don’t think anyone is rooting for the promoter plans. I think if you enjoy watching a particular boxer you will watch regardless of the matchup. Frankly, a lot of the newer fans don’t want to see their favorite fighters compete as much as they want to see them win. The networks realized this and you see it with how they make fights for the top guys. If a boxer gets good ratings they will give him a 3 fight deal. The 1st 2 fights will be easy wins and then the 3rd fight will be the big one. If a guy. Gets a 5 or 6 fight deal you know most of those fights will be showcase type fights. Boxing, like every sport, has to adapt to what young fans want.

That Spence fights Bud instead? Seriously, why not? Because we really want to see Spence-Garcia first or......? Stop caring about Haymon and Arum. They won't share their money with you. Start caring about good fights instead. You make a good point but don’t you get it yet? All of these guys with major network deals have a plan in place. So whether we scream or not they are going to execute that plan. It’s everyone. All promoters, all networks, all fighters. That’s the way it works in the modern era with network exclusive deals.

Crawford says he don't give a f##k about what the fans want, you aint paying his bills and if things go wron you won't be there visiting him in the hospital. and we dont give a **** about him saying he wants belts after fighting beltless bum after beltless bum and saying the top fighters are running from him. One guy is fighting guys like Porter, Brook, Mikey Garcia, and lined up to fight Danny Garcia the other guy been fighting expired tomato cans but you dont care who either guy fights. I understand were Mammoth and ShsneMosleySR are coming from. Of course we would all rather have these guys with belts fight each other, but in saying that if Bud doesn't have the opportunity to face either Pacman or Errol then he needs to jump at fighting Porter. I can't see any reason not to make this fight. I also believe that Bud would beat Porter quite easily. I think he would beat him too but yea, there would be nothing easy about that fight the reason why I am not clamoring for that fight, but would happily watch if it happened... is because Porter has fallen just short against many of the top guys he faced but I do not have any type of problem with Shawn Porter Porter is excellent, one of the classiest guys in the sport, TOP dude

I do think Crawford is being unfairly treated by some on here, ultimately the guy wants to unify the division and fight the other champions. The same people who mock hearn for getting Wilder to try and fight Whyte are the same ones calling Crawford a coward... However saying all that im not against Crawford fighting Porter. Porter would be the best name on Crawford resume and Porter has been very competitive in all his losses (some of them should have been losses). So I dont have a problem with Crawford fighting Porter before he takes on the likes Spence, Thurman etc.

Good luck to Crawford, but Spence-Danny and Spence-Pacquiao are easy fights to make, will have both guys sharing a bunch of money, and are actually good style matchups in both fights, and at the top level of the division. Spence-Crawford may be a good fight (I still think Errol presses out Bud, tbh), but Crawford signing over his next 5 years to Bob Arum ****s things up.
