Loma, Teofimo, and Haney destroy this PBC hypejob.
I think what stood out for me the most was the disappearance of his power against one of the chinniest world champions I've seen. Gamboa had been down like 14 times coming into this and was 38! That's freaking ancient at this weight
Here come the idiot's with the overrated talk.
Not even a fan of Tank but he had a less stellar performance but still managed to win all rounds and win by KO. Wtf yall idiots expect these dudes to KO everyone in the 1st or they are overrated?
ATG fighters dont KO all their opponents in the 1st 3 rounds. All HOF's dont look like HOF's in some nights.
Tank was sharp as hell, I have no clue what fight you guys were watching.
He looked sharp vs a 40 yr old shot fighter with a ruptured achilles tendon... Cool, congrats tank.

It's not that he wasn't sharp. It's that it showed he hasn't been training/taking his weight properly. Was it 15 punches in one round, I think? 27 in another? Something is clearly off with his conditioning.
This is what, the fourth fight he came in overweight initially at the scales??? His lack of conditioning clearly showed during the later rounds--- either he isn't taking training seriously, or he's not caring about his weight fluctuations and making proper adjustments.
He needs to fix his weight/training issues, or whatever. He is definitely powerful and quick, but what would happen if tonight, he was facing a Gamboa that was 5 years younger? A guy that could take the punishment, but then, keep a high-pace?
This Gamboa we saw is clearly past it (no pop in his punches, slower reflexes, etc.).
bumachenko fan boys hurt big time lol...well at least now you know why he's ducking the tank...btw bumachenko only fights quitters..bum after bum...no wonder he's ducking quack quack quack QUACK :lol1:

We are not even sure if he can win a third division title with that kind of performance. Definitely not Adrien Broner 2.0 Broner is a lot better than Tunk Davis :cool2:
Tank is simply becoming a product. The fact is; the guy just simply isn’t that good. I don’t care for over marketing or discussions of weight or who you care for promo-wise...he just isn’t that good
All that drinking and partying is gonna come full circle and bite tank in the asss, because when it finally catches up and tank cant make 135 or 140 hes gonna be a 5'4" chubby welterweight LMAO
He is heading there sadly. He cant go up to WW... it would be sad. Even 140 is wayy too big for him
Hes a must see fighter because of his power, but he seems to blow up wayy too much between fights. The guy was tired fighting a slow fight vs a shot to sh#t Gamboa... That was sad to see...

He DEFINITELY needs to get his head in the game, meaning get his damn conditioning in check. You would have thought he'd learn his lesson by now. "He's young doe" is going to turn into "he never (really) was" if he can't straighten up!
Power and speed like this is god given. Hopefuly tonight was a wake up call. did he win every round? Of course, but Gamboa wasnt punching back. I would hate to see another naturally talented guy like him messing all that up.
A win is a win.
Just my opinion...you might want to just save the shlt talking for when he actually loses. Sure we can pick apart performances, but he got the job done. Hopefully he improves so we can have some explosive fights. :boxing:
like when loma lost to salido? the guy gamboa beat! tank is better! proof!
A win is a win.

Let's see tank face a hungry relevant current contender for a final eliminator or some **** before we judge him, he didn't even cut weight properly clearly. But yeah Adrian broner 2.0 could be a good shout lol who's his Maidana gonna be though??
It wasn't a competetive fight so even though it was hyped up around tank he could have not gotten up for it. Gamboa hasn't been a relevant contender for years and years, didn't he barely beat Sosa? Controversially. Lost to some journeyman too I'm sure. Fuvk this fight.
