For me it has to be tim bradley over Marquez who was coming off his biggest win and looked in great shape. When he lost to Floyd he hid behind the weight issue but Bradley exposed his style again, he just can’t deal with slick moving boxers at all.
i doubt this is accurate by the time floyd fought him , austin trout was his best win, i could be wrong
link please!
Here is the end of year list for ring magazine. Canelo was still in their top 10 p4p even with the loss to Floyd. He was already in the list before the fight too:
https://boxrec.com/media/index.php/The_Ring_Magazine%27s_Annual_Ratings:_2013
He was in others too at the time, I remember .
Mosley was EPO'd out of his mind. He looked superhuman for literally one night after garbage performances pre Tony and then garbage performances post Tony.
People need to understand - this is a guy who ADMITTED UNDER OATH to using the cream and the clear. Not ingesting a contaminated substance, or having traces, or consuming something accidentally, or anything but literally admitting in court that he used gear.
Gotta be Bradley-Marquez fight
Marquez just came off what could be a KO of the century then gets schooled by Tim Bradley

So many people try to discredit Floyd’s win over Canelo
The fact is Canelo was in every top 10 p4p list, had made 5 or 6 defences of his WBC title and I believe was Ring Champ too
i doubt this is accurate by the time floyd fought him , austin trout was his best win, i could be wrong
link please!
Shane Mosley over Antonio Margarito.
Floyd Mayweather over Canelo Alvarez.
that's more of the overrated win than underated..how?
margo right after cotto was rated at number 8 p4p
how in hell did shane get rated #3 p4p after that victory is beyond reason other it being overrated
Lomachenko over Linares.
Linares had huge physical advantages over him as well as being a boxer of the highest quality with fast hands, great combination puncher, in great shape on a great run and had power.
Loma managed to overcome all of this and get of the canvas to stop Linares with a body punch.
Very underrated win.
Mosley's power must of been something else, because Cotto was unable to stop Margarito in his tracks etc
Lets see.
Bernard Hopkins vs Kelly Pavlik 'Hopkins basically ended his career'.
Not sure what decade that was, even still it is a underrated win.
Did you see the fight?
Mosley caught him big shot after big shot for about 8 rounds straight.
Margarito had issues making the weight and also just got caught with loaded gloves.
Sup Skip :>
I don't know what underrated wins their are, but I think when Danny Garcia beat Matthysse it was a huge deal. Too bad Matthysse ended up canning up the latter end of his career.
Jermaine Taylor over Sam Soliman.Whoa! Good call...Aside from the Soliman injury, Jermaine was already halfway to crazy when he snatched that win. That was a BIG surprise for sure.

trout over cotto is a good pick, trout in general was underrated. i thought he beat canelo
I thought Canelo won close but clear tbh. Think I had it 115-112.
Trout’s a very solid fighter, gives everyone a tough test. Even this past prime version of Trout gave both the Charlo’s a rough night
The hell he did! Think 90% of people can agree that was a robbery. More fool pacquiao for taking the fight though. If it wasn't for that fight horn would still be an unknown bum.
The 3 people that mattered didn’t...
Whether people like it or not that was a W for Horn.
trout over cotto is a good pick, trout in general was underrated. i thought he beat canelo.
mosley win was huge, i thought margarito would walk through him like he did cotto but mosley beat his ass. the fight was in 09 though.
it is a great win but i don't think it is underrated, to this date i think it is his best win.
Antonio Margarito was the baddest man in boxing at that time 'I wanted Mosley to win, and knew he could but? I was not certain. Against Richardo Mayorga it seemed as if Mosley, 'Saved himself with a late knock out etc'
Some nice commentary from Emanuel Steward, describing Mosley's left hook which ended the fight.
I do agree Horn edged that fight tbf

Austin Trout over Cotto. Cotto had just given Mayweather a very tough night and Trout outboxed him pretty impressively.
I like your Bradley over JMM shout, that’s definitely one also.

in hindsight, the win doesn't look as impressive as matthysse has gone on to look pretty pedestrian following his rise in 2012
but here specifically on this board, and everywhere you found "real" boxing talk everyone and their god damn mothers thought matthysse was the next coming of jesus christ. hell i even fell into the massive hype train. he had some of the biggest hype here for any fighter ive ever seen
and danny garcia straight up beat him. and didnt die
it is a great win but i don't think it is underrated, to this date i think it is his best win.

I think that was 08 as it was Hopkins first fight following the Calzaghe loss. I actually bet on B-Hop that night he was a 3/1 dog if I remember correctly. I didn’t expect him to dominate Pavlik like he did though, very impressive win.
B-Hop ruined a lot of guys: Cloud, Pascal, Tarver, Trinidad.
