Lately, this dude has been out of the limelight because his son is non active. I really thought he was a cool guy when he admitted to being a wannabe boxer who pushed his son into the sport. He showed his boy a lot of love when he cried on TV saying Danny was the best gift God ever gave him. Positive behavior shouldn't be punished.
Any way he has many memorable moments,: calling Thurman a b ass nuccuh, after the fight he wanted Danny to quit saying they jerked off kieths nuts crying robbery. Then there was the time he knew when to step back, when Danny wasn't listening to his voice in the corner anymore. Not to mention his racist rant about cats and dogs in Chinese food. Not one to hide his opinion I see this guy as good for the sport. How long has it been since there was a politically incorrect person? Maybe Tyson? Lol. Your thoughts...
You meant Lou Dibella and the answer is yes. It was during the first Bowe/Golota I bout in Madison Square Garden in 1996 where Andrew Golota got disqualified for low blows. It caused a full scale riot where people started storming the ring swinging.
No it was lou duva lol
Yes, I remember him. His name was Norman Stone. Roy Jones, Jr trainer Alton Merkerson cold cocked him at a final press conference leading up to the John Ruiz heavyweight bout.
Yes Norman Stone. What a miserable loud mouth trouble maker. It was as though Lampley and company loved saying his name everytime he loudly complained. He was cold ****ed and still that didn't shut his mouth. I feel sorry for his children if he was a father or his wife if some woman stayed married to the guy.
I admit that Fuck no! I don't miss that racist low class piece of shit! I just don't understand the love affair that Al Haymon has with the Garcia family as much as he likes to throw around the N-word and insult the black people all the time. Haymon must be fucking Angel Garcia's wife behind his back or something. :D
Yeah, he was quite the character. Do you remember the time he got ejected from John Ruiz' corner for cussing out the referee during the Ruiz vs Golota bout? I have to admit that shit was raw and off the chains. Take a look below. :lol1:
Wow that was great
I must of watched it three four times laughing hysterically
Took me back to my younger years
Now I know your in the bag and all I could think is Norman is on the fughin bag lol
The Valuev fight looked like one of those fughin circus sideshows between ugly ass Russian and Stone
Couldn’t make this chit up
I hope some of the younger fans watched this cause they wouldn’t believe the story’s if you told them
Classic
Norman Stone is a fughin legend
His loudmouth got slow as molasses John Ruiz publicity en masse
I’d rather watch paint dry than watch John Ruiz fight but then stormin Norman outrageousness came alongYeah, he was quite the character. Well it was beef between Ryan and Rolly Romero. They had a confrontation at a boxing event and Lopez sr was there instigating sht telling Rolly to “drop that N now”Oh, ok! I get what you are saying bro! Yeah, the man is scum of the earth trash for teaching young kids that. At his age he should know better!
Lou Del Valle, former fighter. Lou Dibella, current promoter.
It was Lou Duva, who was Golota's trainer. Father-in-law to Kathy Duva, I believe.Yeah, exactly!
Not really. We've got a new and better version in Teofimo Lopez Sr.
He's not self aware enough to admit he's living vicariously through his son though.

Easy names to confuse but that is all correct.

Hello
Teofimo Lopez Sr
First one that came to mind
I like characters in boxing - Angel seemed like he was going to be a good one but then he started to downplay fights for his son...like vs Floyd ...like what are you in the game for if you aren't trying to be in the mix for a fight like that? I guess their plan is different - nothing really wrong with it I guess....bfter that, I basically have lost interest in Danny's career. Hopefully something changes, but Angel has killed the mood too many time for me.
My favorite moment was him trying to imitate Khan and his bunny hop at the press conference before that fight "cmon man!" :lol1:

That's funny because I've never known Teofimo Lopez and Ryan Garcia fighting each other in the professional ranks. It must of been in the amateurs.
Well it was beef between Ryan and Rolly Romero. They had a confrontation at a boxing event and Lopez sr was there instigating sht telling Rolly to “drop that N now”
He's as bad a Guerrero's father who's still complaining his son was robbed against Floyd. The worst ever is that guy who was in John Ruiz's corner. He was so annoying that he was even booted out of the arena. To this day that loud mouth still believes they got screwed in the Roy Jones fightYes, I remember him. His name was Norman Stone. Roy Jones, Jr trainer Alton Merkerson cold cocked him at a final press conference leading up to the John Ruiz heavyweight bout.
It was Ryan garcia lol. I understand Ryan might run people the wrong way for whatever reason but it’s still a 50 yr old man talking sht about a 20 yr oldThat's funny because I've never known Teofimo Lopez and Ryan Garcia fighting each other in the professional ranks. Apparently lamps daughter was there he was fearing for her safety, then that one part where big George had to pull enforcer saying son put that chair down before you know what's best for you! And lamps meagerly saying yah put that down man.
