With HBO out of the picture, I actually prefer The Sky Sports crew. AJ/Ruiz 1 and AJ/Klitschko are fantastic. I'm in the states so rarely do I get to hear them but love their enthusiasm

They were better than anything around today. Lampley, Stewart and Merchant was the best trio by far

I don’t. Before all the politics they were good . But when things changed they would call a fight in favor of whomever hbo wanted to win more and it just sucked. I liked the old school guys who were neutral and called the action without any bias toward one fighter.

Surely failing to include Steward, the very best colour commentator of our generation is borderline blasphemy? Nobody ever captured a fights spirit the way he did, i miss his insight so much in fights.

I thought Stewart Lampley and Merchant were the best HBO team. Steward kind of kept Lampley in check and I don't care for Kellerman.

Lampleys soul left his body when Roy said "hes not getting up Jim!" And then Floyd buried him for good by beating Pac in fact floyd pretty much retired them all lol leaving HBO and beating their cash cow

I do too. Even though Lampley & Kellerman could go overboard with the whole "story of the fight" BS and trying to create stories out of thin air.

No, they need new blood. DAZN and PBC are worse than RJJ, Lamp and Kellerman though. They need to keep trying different announcers.

I cringe at espn, dazn, and showtime commentators now. These three were the best of the best. No teams beats them. It's never been the same since hbo died. I think the Showtime guys come closest to the HBO boys At least for boxing purposes Malignaggi is pretty insightful just like Jones For a boxing perspective

Present day Boxing fans don't know who Roy Jones Jr. is/was. They may know of Floyd (but never actually seen him box when he was active/prime). You are out of touch with present day Boxing if you want anything other than Logan Paul, or some other YouTube celebrity on the mic.
