can you imagine not posting the right hand that happened before that and thinking yourself an honest man? i mean really, how dishonest can you be? prior to all of that his opponent landed his best punch of the fight, a right hand right on the button. refs don't watch fights in slow motion. you'd be crazy not to call that a knockdown after the right hand landed right in front of you, and crawford held on for dear life sheesh.

Kava kept throwing, he wasn't having any luck getting the knockdown, so he threw Bud instead. It happens. In that situation, boxers will trip, push, pull, whatever in the hope of getting the opponent down. The ref was wise to this, had probably seen it happen a thousand times before. Anyone who knows anything about grappling, and who has a functional set of eyes, saw this. Since you seem to lack one or the other, why would I care what you think? Where’s the throw? He keeps punching and Crawford goes down after a left to the body lands because he was still hurt by the big right. The final left was a punch not a push or a throw

Nah, that isn't how it works. In that position, with the angle of their bodies, it wouldn't have taken much at all to pull Bud off balance. He was already wobbly, which was from the hit, and he was leaning right forward, because he wanted to cling on for dear life. You can literally pull someone over with a really small tug in that sort of situation. Or push, if you happen to be swiveling past their centre of balance. Agreed that Bud was on the verge of going down. But I don't know if he would have actually gone down without the throw. The ref ruled correctly. No push. Besides, i already said i don’t think he was badly hurt. Maybe a bit stunned and found himself in a bad position and went down before he took more shots. Definitely a knockdown but it doesn’t matter. He got up and won.

It was a knockdown... imo But many stuffs like that never get called. For example bradley went tumbling and folding against provonikov and wasn’t ruled a knockdown because of a little wrestling in the end of the hard hit eventhough it was obvious bradley was very hurt.
