Why is Tyson Fury called feather fisted when he has 66% ko ratio
And Andy Ruiz is called a heavy puncher or at least a guy with pop and he has a 62% ko ratio against even lower tier competition.
So as a break down
Fury 66% ko ratio= pillow fists
Ruiz 62% ko ratio= heavy puncher
Can someone explain?
It’s all about opponents and style to be fair. Fury has a high KO ratio because of the number of really weak opponents but against any top opposition he’s never really knocked many out at all.
I can’t really talk for Ruiz early opponents as I don’t know but he has just taken on Joshua twice and Parker . I suspect he had a lot of early career short round fights he won by UD?
Because Ruiz knocked out Joshua so all the Joshua fans need to pretend like Ruiz can punch.
Bro. I have a strong feeling that this is the reason. And this is EXACTLY why it's hard to speak to AJs fanatics about boxing. They say anything

fighting styles
Tyson more technically sound, beautiful head movement, and is seen as a defensive fighter. Hit not get hit
Ruiz, mexican warrior with fast hands reliant on one punch to change the fight, gets hit and gets up to fight again.
