People say Chisora is not any good, but he is still Fury`s second best win, by far.
Wilder`s best wins are Ortiz, Stiverne, Arreola.
They both have weak resumes. They haven`t separated from the rest of division, say what you want, but AJ has the best resume, and I am not even his fan.
Nice to see fans get hyped for a fight tbh. Better than arguing financials or why the best aren't facing each other. They don't have great resumes but few active fighters do
I'm just going to second this take.
We can argue the specifics, but Wilder and Fury are current top-tier HWs. They are fighting each other. And that's undeniably a good thing.
If you put Fury and Wilders resume together ,Joshua would still have a better one . He's defeated 7 top guys on the only legit ranking system and compacted down to 20 something fights its not even close. Both Fury and Wilder are on borrowed time the question there is who gets rid of who . How much Hype are they ? Both are still top guys but Wilder can't say anything he's holding Fury's belt and Joshua knocks either one out.
of the 3 aj is the only one to be battered and destroyed, none of them have a resume worth bragging about, aj does have the best of the 3 but not by much. the way he got his azz whooped was sad tho and took the steam off the guy. hopefully they all fight.
What people forget is Fury was inactive between 2015 and 2018.
So if you talk about his resume, especially before 2015, there really wasn’t a lot of guys around like today. Dillian Whyte was pretty much unknown, Ortiz wasn’t much of a name, AJ was still coming up.
The kind of guys around when Fury was most active like 2012 or 2013 were guys like Chisora, Johnson, Cunningham etc. The guys he was fighting. Or other guys like Arreola were around.
Let’s not forget Haye pulled out of their fight twice.
Outside of Wlad back then and the odd fighter like Povetkin, the division was pretty bad. Fury was fighting what was basically available outside of Wlad. He was chasing the Wlad fight too.
Fury never avoided any big fights, there just wasn’t many big fights around back then. Haye and Wlad were the biggest and he would’ve fought both.
AJ and Wilder are the biggest fights since his return, he’s fought one of them.
He’s fought some poor competition since coming back, obviously the first 2 comeback fights were understandable. But also he’ll be fighting Wilder for the second time, so you can’t knock that either.
I read quite a lot about Fury rising to his opposition, but I feel its more a case that his toughest opponents are just very well selected. Wlad was a fantastic fighter, while he had a reach advantage, Wilder's record is amazing but was always very crude and tailor made for a fighter like Fury, as was Chisora. I'm inclined to think both of them are overrated, but still great fighters in their own rights. However to really grade a boxer, they need to fight lots of top 10s, against all flavors and styles - not just the ones they do well against.
I still can't get over how bad Fury looked against Otto. He looked completely shot. It's easy to say maybe he over trained and maybe he did, but he better figure something out. He looked very vulnerable and old.
Wilder on the other hand is looking as good as he will ever look.
Joshua's stock, in my eyes, has dropped significantly after the Ruiz win. There was nothing really gained there other than he doesn't have what it takes to be an offensive fighter at the championship level.
I like Fury. He!! I love him. He's been one of my favorite public figures let alone boxer over the past few years. I knew he'd beat Wilder the first time. But now I think he will get stopped. He's got one foot in and one foot out of boxing. I don't see a very strong ploy or pitch coming from him as to why he will win. Maybe this is just the new him. Less manic tirades.
Fury fights to the level of his opposition. Personally i thought he did well against Wallin considering he was fighting him with one eye.
Wallin is no bum, 6ft5 southpaw with some skills and he is clearly a tough man.
Wallin will spark Browne out within 3 rounds, mark my words.
I

I think you might be underestimating his pride, his family history as fighters. He won't allow himself to be beat by nfl player.

Fury mastered Wlad which is FAAAR better than anything wilder has done.
Fury has a decent resume. Yes, wilder fights the same guys, that are sub parr.
Stiverne like 8 times and ortiz
Yes the hype in boxing forums.
No official announcement or anything.
If there is no press conference before January 2020 - then I doubt it will happen.
how can someone, who is a supposed "man, sit back and type that BS reply?
fully knowing that himself(most likely) and all of the golovkin gggroupies called 155 "canelo weight" and made fun of him for fighting for the belt at a CW...and then defending it at a CW against khan.....
but now he wants to claim full MW wins for canelo because it doesnt help his cause arguing for joshua? what kind of poosy does stuff like that and types the poosy nonsense you just did?
canelo had 0 wins at the full 160 limit when he drew and then beat golovkin ....ZERO(you should be familiar with this as both a number and an adjective)
AJ beating top 10 guys means absolutely NOTHING until he faces the top tier elite HWs......theres 2 guys at the top
golovkins career before jacobs and canelo means next to nothing...just beating cans and "top 10 guys" proved nothing....he beat up and knocked out a bunch of nobodies(guys like stevens that actually lost to jesse brinkley and marcos primera)....when facing the elite he wasnt dominant and couldnt knock them out
just remember...you know what youve said...and if you yourself didnt say you know youve seen all the canelo haters/gggroupies say 155 isnt MW and is "canelo weight"
so dont try running the "canelo def has wins at MW before golovkin" BS on me you fgt
AJ can beat all the top 10 guys he wants..it dont mean squat till he faces a top tier guy like fury or wilder
btw wilder has about 26 rounds with top 5 guys....guess how many times theyve been down? 6 times....in 26 rounds....meanwhile your boy is running away from a 6 ft tub of lard with slow feet and short arms...LOL
fck off you lame
sit down old fu.ck and listen up. I give 2 fu.cks about Saul, Golo etc. hell, you duck sick Saul more than stomps. FOH wit your bias and bs assumptions. your boy, your guy....go change your diaper, you halfafa.g senile weirdo
So even though Joshua beat Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, it doesn`t mean much because it makes Wilder`s and Fury`s record looking bad. I see.
Povetkin is the best out of those, but his career was already derailed by legal/doping issues.
Neither you nor I had Whyte on our radar when that fight was announced. It had to be promoted using their amateur feud. Parker is effectively a failed prospect who fights like a gunshy Pulev (and didn't really beat Ruiz).
I don't really see how those are much different wins than Ortiz or Stiverne (& considering how they were regarded pre-defeat, they might even be significantly superior wins).
In terms of a single win, none compare to ending Wlad's historic reign.
All in all none of their resumes really stand out that much from each other. The big tie breaker? Fury and Wilder will have fought each other twice. That removes joshua from the resume discussion.
Fighting an already defeated Wladimir in a "fun" retirement fight isn't in the same category as ending his historic 10-year title reign.
A standout name on joshua's record would be Povetkin, but he simply wasn't the fighter he used to be after years of legal/doping issues.
Ruiz is not an asset to joshua's resume. He is a permanent F.
You don't get a resume boost from beating a guy who is only famous because he knocked you out.
I don't think people did the math on this one.
Ahhh, I see. Charles Martin is the extreme resume depth everyone is talking about.

Thy only reason Wilder and Fury are still interesting is they are undefeated. When one of them loses, he becomes irrelevant.
That is also why they shouldn`t fight again because somebody is gonna lose this time, likely Wilder and Wilder fans will become Efe Ajagba fans.
Listen old white guy from the burbs. Was the belt Saul won from Cotto the MW championship or no? Its a yes or no question......If its ano, then i take back what I said. If its a yes, then eat a dic.k and stfu.
