I mean he is definitely a candidate and that's for sure. He has had two one punch KO victories over two solid opponents in Dominic Breazeale and Luis Ortiz.
So what do you guys think?
Canelo > Wilder
Wilder, to my knowledge, has never had to impose handicaps on any opponents. Canelo is working on 3 in a row.
That said, if Ruiz wins the rematch, I think he’s the front runner.
I like Wilder and it's a definite NO. An awesome KO against a lower tiered heavyweight in Breazeale and a follow-up KO against a guy he already KO'd do not equal Foty. FOTY imo are outstanding achievements performed within the year. Whether it's moving up in weight and dominating or having multiple back to back wins against champs all within the same year.
man boobs Breazeale is a competant opponent? well yeah I guess so since this HW division is garbage. Just goes to show the importance of high light reel KOs to create cross over stars. GBP overpaid Khan for Canelo, Arum had to overpay Khan to feed him to Crawford, Canelo got the highlight reel KO but Crawford failed miserably.
Khan quit he was scared
No, because Breazeale sucks and he already knocked Ortiz out.
No because Breazele was never good to begin with and Ortiz he already beat. Overhyped PBC bum and boxer pass his prime.
