Every week we got a few ret@rds claiming this guy or that guy took a dive. Is this the new trend? Whats up? Wilder is a huge puncher and now Ortiz took a dive? Yeah dude some posters are just disgraceful. It’s time mods take back this site from them.

Secrets can be kept when it's in enough of the right people's interests to keep them. Just look at professional cycling and think about how many people were involved in the Lance Armstrong and US Postal doping. And to deny fixes happen in boxing shows an utter lack if its history and ties to organized crime. Not in boxing doe. Maybe in the past, but not in recent times. It doesn't add up. You know why?? Winning is more lucrative than losing. Show me a guy who retired and made millions taking a dive. Let that sink in into your entire consciousness. I repeat, "Winning is more lucrative than losing." Kovalev, for instance, would have made many times more if he beat Canelo. Would you agree? Same thing with those clowns who allegedly took a dive. LOL. What a stupid nonsense.

I'm old enough not to believe in that nonsense. If there ever was in boxing, I'd assume it only involves one person, and that's the fighter. Anything that involves more than one, you gotta be an idiot to believe it. Like I always say, you can't even keep a secret with your wife. They used to mainly protect fighters with rigged judges but that appeal has worn off with the fans and the numbers are showing it, look at the Smith fight yesterday, it didn't go over very well. How many other "big" paydays was Ortiz gonna get if he didn't get the Wilder rematch? A guy in his position would be easy to convince to play along, and there is always an NDA to cover negotiations. Besides, why would you complain after you get the money, you are guilty of the act too at that point. :thinking:

Funny how old man Ortiz got the rematch no one wanted to see. Only a few "stars" in the sport, and you have to protect your product. One punch KO's are supposed to be "exciting", supposed to define stars. Pay attention to the rise of one punch KO's in recent fights, the sport is in trouble and they are trying to save it.
