This is going to bring in lots of viewers and subscriptions to DAZN. DAZN will make a good profit from this an reinvest back into their own stable. Thanks Al Haymon.

Wasn't this your big gripe why Wilder didn't sign to fight on Dazn bc of conflict of interest with rival promoters when this proves the lies you tell on here are false ? Ha
The Big Dunn
Why are you mentioning me?
Because he's fueling his rival. All of the money DAZN earns, goes to the same people, whether it be German, Spanish or whichever country earns the subscribers - it's all paying his opposition.
DAZN cut a cheque to Haymon/PBC; whether that was for 6 or 7-digits, DAZN has to make that back up with subscriptions.
Haymon didn't give the PPV away for free, I hope you see that
Wilder vs Fury was also screened by DAZN in Germany and all the other European territories where DAZN operate.
So yes, they do get subs and make money from Haymon's shows, but I assume they will also be paying him for the screening rights.
Well, of course. They wouldn't be able to air the PBC shows for free. But I doubt they are paying THAT much money for them. And don't think the added subs will be anything substantial minus possibly Wilder/Pacquiao fights.
So they sold the rights to DAZN Germany or something?
Pretty sure PBC is shown on DAZN in a bunch of the European countries. I don't know if DAZN in Japan has rights to PBC fights, but wouldn't be surprised.
DAZN will have paid for the rights, not the other way around.
And it's not exactly going to drive subscriptions. No-one cares about the fight outside of the US (and not to a great extent there either).
It's filler. Which is a good definition for most of Wilder's fights.
Boxing is quite popular in Germany, especially HW boxing.

why are you surprised?? its more exposer for his fighters and he will get a cut from it

I think it's an excellent idea!! Though i'm really quite surprised Haymon allowed his fighters to appear on dazn, even if it is outside of the US. I really wish I could get DAZN, i'd love and happily pay for the boxing they are showing! It hasn't reached dubai and probably isn't likely to unfortunately.

In every country that they operate in outside of the US, they're basically akin to BoxNation; a one-stop shop, for fans of some niche sports, to get access to from their nation.
Leave the US alone, get the partnership with PBC to carry rights to the events in their countries (outside of Canada/Mexico and UK), and build the business that way.
If you still want to come to the US, you sure as heck don't have a promoter like Eddie Hearn, with his scorched Earth strategy, front your move, lol.
DAZN needs to give the fans in Germany a reason to keep using the app, so paying PBC whatever they had to pay for the rights to the fight, is the cost of business
Pbc only has the Mexico rights
