He’s lighter and more fluid in his movement plus it seems like his family stuff has settled down a bit more. Not a fan because he failed a test and I stand by my thing of not being a fan of anyone failing tests but glad it’ll be a good fight and with no excuses. PED fails aside he’s a good man to his family and I wish him well.
Certainly looks better than he did when he came in against Hammer.
Thing is, most pros look quick on the bag. Speed is relative to the speed of the thing in front of you.
Regardless of the very dodgy scoring, Ortiz outboxed Wider first time around and should have finished him. We talk about lucky punches all the time - no-one ever mentions the one Wilder caught Ortiz with? It was beyond lucky. Even he was surprised that it got him.
Wilder's improved in my opinion. Knows what he's about and doesn't try to be anything else. I think he ends Ortiz with a big shot, but he'll still get outboxed along the way.
I'm gonna bet the house on "not a chance in hell". He's older, and looked like dog poop against Christian Hammer.
Lol You may be right. But I’ll tell you this, I’m a lot older than Ortiz, and I’m in better shape now that I have been in years. And I’m not alone. This isn’t like the old days where a forty year old athlete is old as dirt. Like I said, you might be surprised.
You’d be surprised. Ortiz may have been younger in the first fight, but it’s possible he’s in better shape now. He might not be just as quick, but he might be better in other areas, like conditioning.

He looks way better this time around. And one thing is for certain.....theres no way that ortiz is 46 47.......a older guy dont get up like this. More like 40 or 41. Look at him train. 47? Hahaha
Uhm... he's 40 years old. He's not in better shape.

wilder is focused...trust me...he knows where his bread is buttered....he isnt a celebrity without being relevant in the fight game.....he is working on raising his profile...but i believe he knows where and how he makes his money and people are coming to try and stop it every time out...hes focused.....
wilder is actually a really humble guy from very humble beginnings....but he knows how to turn on the other side when in public and in front of cameras
Yeah, some of these guys turn on their public persona when in front of the cameras. It’s easy to forget this sometimes. It’s all about selling themselves and upping their marketability.
Wilder better be on his game and yes, I'm serious. Ortiz is focused on this one last shot and Wilder seems to be focused everywhere else.

Pretty excited for this one. Could be a war.
I’ve always thought it would be a good rematch. A lot of guys don’t seem to think so. Looking at him now, I feel pretty good about my impression. I think Wilder will win, but he better not sleep on the “old man.”

Yup should make for a good one!
I still favor Wilder but I want to see a good heavyweight fight!
He’s looking in really good form for this fight. Very sharp. And he looks like he’s going to really try to keep the fight at his distance and pace. Looking forward to the rematch
