He only lost twice, once again P4P #1 Crawford, who outweighed him by like 15 pounds on fight night. And he lost to a fluke against some no name fighter. He still got an elite resume and is an ELITE CONTENDER against Tank Davis. :boxing::boxing:
the crawford fight was 5 years ago. that is a long time in boxing years
he did not look good vs sosa
he is chinny
cant see anything other than a davis ko and when the outcome is so certain it is not interesting for a boxing fan
You better NOT make a new account when Gamboa gives Davis the hardest fight of his career. You will be SHOCKED and AMAZED!

He was knocked out by a guy who’s 24-14 and fought a super close fight with Jason Sosa who just got destroyed by Berchelt.
Can happen to anyone on the given day, one off day and it can easily happen. Hell, If a legend like Ali needs sniffing salts to recover from Henry Cooper who are you to really judge him?
aboutfuktime gets that award every year by default. I blocked his a$$ because trolling him got boring but I figure he's spending all day checking in and out of the "the most overrated thread getting mad" no one else is mentioning GGG.
Nahhh u being biased lol. This guy is the worst. This guy went on a Fck Floyd tirade for 3 days just cuz people refuse to sck Manny's dck not to mention he has the audacity going around screaming YDKSAB. The nerve of this shytbag lmao
dude is 37 and has been dropped more times then a cocaine habit
Your idol Floyd's toughest fight, according to him, was against a guy with a record of 22 16 4. Floyd was beaten up and bloodied by a journeyman Burton.
How many times a boxer has been dropped doesn't tell us much. It's how they come back from the KDs. Ask boxers like Marquez.
Gamboa only has 2 losses.
I think its just gonna be some level of bad vs Tank. Either Tank takes him out like hes never been taken out before or Tank wins a one sided battle that goes the distance. If Yuri makes it competitive Ill be surprised honestly.
Yeah, I agree. I just hope it’s not too damn bad.
That was a bs W in the Sosa fight. Sosa deserved to get that W. Yuri gots 3 Ls in my record book. Making him 3-2 in his last 5 fights for me.
But none of this matters. Yuri in his late 30s ISNT elite even if his resume can be argued to be elite, which with the random L idk if thats exactly true. I wouldnt consider many guys with random Ls to no names to be elite. A high level resume can usually has at least all high level Ls usually along with some good to high level Ws.
True, but Gamboa has been fighting on as a clearly shot fighter and he had that stretch where he was shelved. Any fighter who fights long enough will eventually lose to lesser guys. Yuri squandered his career, and is simply trying to hold on. Damn shame. Hope he at least makes a decent account of himself in his next fight.
Donaire lost on the cards to Frampton, and won the WBA title by destroying Burnett. Gamboa got destroyed by Castellanos and Sosa, fought once last year, and knocked out an even more shot Martinez. He's also older than Donaire, and fighting in a weight division he doesn't belong in. I think it's safe to say that the Donaire that Inoue fought is much more dangerous than the Gamboa Tank's set to fight.
Lot of truth here. Gamboa’s best days are way behind him. Sad waste of a career. What might’ve been...

lol I'm not surprised at this response
How do you feel about Inoue having a hard fight with Donaire?

He fought Pedraza, Ruiz, and Cuellar, some good comp for a 25 year old. Once he's 30; he'll be getting better comp def!
yeah thats great comp alright. these brainless haters know nothing! who in boxing history was fighting such amazing comp at tanks age??? no one!
I noticed him too from another thread. I wouldn't take that guy seriously. Just have fun with him, I find his way of responding to be really amusing actually. Even if he does sound like a 10 year old kid.
Yeah depends. But thats part of whats wrong with this place. Trolling. And yeah i stopped responding to him once i noticed that.
I came here to talk about boxing not play tit 4 tat troll games with 10 year old man childs

Wasn’t Cuellar coking off a loss, a year inactive and had to move up in weight for the fight? Did you say Ruiz, the last second replacement for Mares lmaoooooo
I just noticed u a couple of days ago. And already u have became a strong contender for "worst poster of the year"
Fredkkk must be sweating bullets rn.....

You gonna be eating crow when Gamboa gives tank that work, not to say he'll win, but he definitely aint shot.
You're the same guy that gave Inoue crap for having a tough fight with Donaire and yet you're going to give Tank Davis a pass if Gamboa somehow gives him a hard fight? Makes no sense.
I'm just curious to see how long it will take Tank to KO Gamboa. It'll be a fun fight for 3 rounds until Tank finally catches up to him. I only wish Gamboa was 6 years younger, he was mesmerizing in his prime. Who knows, maybe he'll turn back the clock like Donaire did and give Tank a long night.
ooo boi, you gonna be in for a RUDE AWAKENING. Gamboa will be tank Davis' BIGGEST TEST
Yeah well that says more about the guys Tank is fighting than anything else IMO.
I like Tank but I wanna see him fight a top 5 guy
Gamboa lost vs a 24-14 guy... Lomachenko lost vs a 41-12-2 guy named Salido
Gamboa beat Salido and dropped him twice... Lomachenko lost to Salido and never dropped him...
Gamboa knocked out Rocky Martinez in two rounds... Lomachenko won his title from Rocky Martinez but took 5 rounds to stop him
oh no! please dont bring this up! it wont be met or received well!!!
"triangulation doesnt work in boxing...it all means nothing...loma the goat obviously and gamboa is dog excrement because i said so"
