Hey that Kovalev pic of yours with that ball and hat, what's it called exactly and where can I get one?
Make one out of some cheap elastic and a tennis ball, then tie it to a hat.
Please explain.
If you think this is because someone suggested Henry Armstrong could beat Mayweather Jr., then perhaps a little history might help clear some things.
From Bleacher Report:
“ If you don't regard Sugar Ray Robinson as the greatest pound-for-pound fighter to ever live, there is only one truly valid alternative: Henry Armstrong. Hurricane Hank did what no other fighter had ever done or will ever do again.
For a brief period of time in 1938, Armstrong reigned as the undisputed world champion at featherweight, lightweight and middleweight, all at the same time. In an era when there was only one world champ per division, Armstrong was the unquestioned king from 126 to 147 pounds.
To put that into context, in today's era of alphabet soup titles and half weight classes, there are up to 20 "world champions" at any time, covering the same weight span.
Incredibly, in 1940 Armstrong battled to a disputed draw with middleweight champion Cerefino Garcia. A win would have made him a world champion in four divisions during an era when there were only eight.”
Now factor in that Armstrong did all this in an era when mixed-race/black fighters were marginalized and denied access to the top level resources many of their white opponents enjoyed, or that boxers of all races (such as Mayweather) enjoy today, and you will realize it’s not so outlandish to suggest he ko’s Mayweather and probably many other greats, (and I consider Mayweather an ATG)
I’m not trying to sound salty here, I’m just being honest. The old timers, especially the black and Latin ones, really do not get their due respect here and I for one think they destroy most of today’s soft champions. Except for Hagler, that man was a DOG.
You’re correct about the old timers I also think Armstrong would probably beat him. I do also think fmj and pacquiao are tougher fighters than given credit for. Hagler was a definite ANIMAL LOL.
I’m sure you may be one of the idiots I’m referring to.
Please explain.

Sorry I overreacted a bit..
I didn’t like us PAC fans being referred to as the stuff that clogs toilets.
When I’m able I’ll send you some green later to reverse the red I gave.
But if the champs of the 40s did a time travel to the present? You guys think they'd do much against our boxers?
I don't think so... Our boxing has tons of innovations, training, strategies and healthy supplements. The raw talents of the 40s will be stunned.
I understand your logic, but I disagree with you there.
I really think that some of those old timers were absolute beasts and would have beat the tar out of some of the best boxers of recent memory.
Not many guys like that in modern times, but one absolute dog that comes to mind from recent decades is Hagler ... he’d give a real fight to any of those older guys IMHO
Sugar Ray Robinson would be a major problem for any of today’s welterweights, junior middleweights or middleweights.
I agree with you there.
We often forget just how prolific some of those old timers were.
Tiger Jack Fox actually fought five days after a street fight in which he got stabbed in the chest. Those guys often fought for their food and rent. I think a lot of the recent boxers, not counting Hagler and some others, are talented but SOFT compared to those guys!

Well, that’s a fair point my friend
I find it difficult just because the sport is so different. For instance fighters did in the 30’s aren’t really plausible nowadays, and in the modern day most guys would probably fight at a lighter weight, as it’s no longer same day weigh ins and so on...
This was gonna be my question. I don’t think you can effectively compare those era’s.
Pryor-Chavez has to be at 140 as well.
Well, that’s a fair point my friend
Smh @ the idiots on this site.
Why do you people always say fighter who’ve never been ko’d or close to it get ko’d In fantasy match ups by fighters who’ve been ko’d multiple times ?? Missmewiththebull****
Not sure what you’re referring to here?
