Not having Valdez fight him and top rank electing to make a Valdez Berchelt fight instead of Herring Berchelt and Valdez Stevenson shows Top Rank still doesn't have faith in the black fans. Yeah or Valdez didnt wanna lose to Stevenson and figured he'd take his chances with Berchelt instead. But let's throw the race thing out there just in case my man.
