Best fights of the year of 2019 so far?

But that's with every fighters with huge fanbase such as Mayweather, Canelo, GGG, Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Loma, etc. This is something I never understood when it comes to fight fans. Why does a fighters fan base, no matter how negatively you think of them, have to affect your overall opinions on the fighter themselves? I just think people want to use a fighters fan base as an excuse to hate on the actual fighter to the point of WANTING that guy to lose, and it shouldn't be like that. I appreciate the fighters themselves and not let their idiotic fan base change my perception on them. Yeah i know... Its just annoying lol

AJ vs Ruiz Because of the knockdowns and shock value. It wasn't a one way fight. Prograis vs Taylor Prograis early, Taylor in the middle rounds, Prograis finishing strong in a close fight by two prime top of the division fighters.

Lmao Facts.... I love Manny but God he has some of the worst fans. i wanted him to get ktfo, and shut up all the pinoy *******s, but as the fight went on.. i was cheering him on.. i do not hate fighters, but their fans are irritating.. really irritating.. but i am happy I did not root against a guy, because his fans are irritants.. Have some green :D For what's it's worth - when you took the time to explain it, I understood what you meant. The reaction to Nelo - Kov was about as loud and busy as any of the other FOTY candidates, perhaps even more so...but probably for the wrong reasons. They were not made out of entertainment or delight, more so out of anger and bizarrely, feelings of wrongdoing :D

Donaire vs Inoue for sure!!! The ending to that fight was written before it even started...Donaire being brutally ko'd by mid rounds. Instead, the old dude rolled back the years and was cat quick and refused to say die. I loved it and I wasn't even that unhappy he didn't win, it's the perfect result for the sport. Ruiz vs Joshua 2 next week though...:dance: I didn't think their first fight was actually all that action packed, though I don't suppose 5 knockdowns is bad value for money (even if 4 were from the same dude :boxing:)

Ive just finished watching the fight. Holy **** what a fight. Im buzzing so right now im saying ive just watched the fight of the year. Maybe when ive chilled out a bit i will reconsider. Why do you all keep including AJ-Ruiz in the FOTY candidates list? I think it was an upset of the year or maybe the decade but definitely not a FOTY. The fight itself wasn't anything special. Inoue-Donaire is my choice btw
