From 154lbs & up Demetrius Andrade is the most talented & skillful fighter. Being bigger does not make you better. As long as Canelo fights fighters less skillful than him, with recognizable names, that cater to his style ya'll are ok with him not facing Andrade?
They have been in 2 different divisions, off & on for 9 years, have been #1 contender's for each other, have fought on the same network but have never fought!
Canelo is a better boxer than Beterbiev, but imo he would beat Canelo cause he's too big. I want Canelo to fight Andrade. Because it's one of the few fights Canelo can take where there's no built in excuse if the B side wins, among other reasons.
For those who don't realize how far back Canelo has been avoiding Andrade; Him waiting until they're in their 3rd division to possibly fight him or (even worst) never fight him at all speaks volumes! Potentially not fighting Andrade at 154 or 160. I wonder how ya'll gon spin this one. 🤔
Can you list the names of the fighters who want to fight Andrade?
Nobody. Nobody cares about him, that's why. People are giving him credit for "calling everybody out", but anybody can do that.
Theres a difference between avoiding and negotiating tactics.
New excuse for ducking, "we aint ducking, we negotiating". OK :-)
"One man's ceiling is another man's floor."
Stupid thread and poll. Canelo avoids noone.
Poo Poo is a nobody and hasn't done squat to deserve a Canelo payday.
Avoid, definition: to keep away from, or stop oneself from doing something.
Seems clear Alvarez "avoided' a third GGG fight.
Andrade is 31. He's been boxing for 11 years and has no big names on his resume. (Vanes? Culcay?)
He's a MW champ, but it's a title he won from an unknown African fighter.
An Alvarez or Golovkin fight seems like a long shot.
It seems like Boo Boo needs to stop waiting around for a mega fight but maybe he's comfortable doing it.
Funny thing is, the fighters that people say Canelo are ducking won't even fight each other.
Can you list the names of the fighters who want to fight Andrade?
Andrade should've signed with PBC.
Hindsight is 20/20
Many of these guys seem more fixated on springboarding off of Canelo's success/cashing in on a payday rather than building their own legacies. Andrade pulled out of a fight with Charlo because they'd rather beef on twitter rather than face off in the ring, he dismissed Lara ironically because he claimed he was boring and brought little money, and said he and Jacobs had an agreement to steer clear of each other because they prioritize being bffs above their careers.
You really telling parts of the story that's convenient. I'm beginning to realize more & more people on here don't understand the boxing business as much as I assumed they did.
posters saying who has Andrade fought are apart of the problem
Exactly. It would be different if he wasn't trying to fight anyone but these people know he is or know now, but will still blame him. How is he gonna prove himself if they won't fight him. The most idiotic logic ever.
- -Dearie Androgynous never fought much less beat a top 10 Ring fighter.
Watching him and the Charlene sisters sprint in opposite directions gold comedy.
When the hate don't work they start telling lies. Please don't quote me on this site again.
I don't think Andrade is as good as you think he is. He beat a pretty good middleweight in his last fight but other than that he hasn't done sh it at 160. I think Canelo can beat him and I think GGG, Dervy and Jacobs can beat him. He is about even with Jermall who also hasn't done sh it at 160 and less than Andrade. If Andrade beat Dervy, Jacobs or Jermall then I would be impressed but right now he doesn't impress me. I think if Canelo returns to 160 he should fight GGG next. GGG has the title Canelo said he should have to get a rematch so Canelo should keep his word and fight him. In my opinion Canelo should have given GGG an immediate rematch anyway instead of fighting Fielding but that's off topic. I don't think Canelo will ever fight at 160 again and in that case there is no need for him to fight Andrade. If Canelo does return to 160 then I think he should fight GGG first. If he beats GGG then he should fight Andrade next. So my answer is if Canelo returns to 160 and keeps winning I would not be OK with him never fighting Andrade. Andrade is a champion and if Canelo is serious about unifying 160 then he must fight Andrade.
Probably one of your more logical posts. I disagree with some things...
But, just to clarify GGG does not have the title that Canelo said he should have to fight him. That was actually Andrade's title that Canelo essentially said that GGG should have and GGG refused to fight Andrade.
Andrade might not be as good as I think he is. There's actually a great chance he could be better. But ain't none of these fighters tryna find out how good he is either which reaffirms what I already know. They see exactly what I see. A lot of professionals within the business know how good he is. Abel Sanchez said years ago Canelo wouldn't go near Andrade. Has Canelo gon near him? It's not as if the opportunity wasn't there. Canelo even reneged on undisputed over Andrade. I could go on forever but there's way way too many coincidences that attest to the "perception" of who Andrade is.
Andrade is nobody. Skilled fighter, I actually like him, but he should fight and beat someone good. Jacobs or Derevyanchenko for example. Or even Murata.
Cancel out Jacobs. Who are all these fighters trying to fight Andrade? 🤔 I'm sure Andrade would fight the guys you named. He's actually the only champ out of who you named. Usually people try get a fight with the champ, but what do I know...
You really think Murata is good tho? Lol
That's exactly what it seems like. I hate to see a guy get a high profile fight, lose, then return to the ring to perform on a mediocre level.
We've seen it over and over again and a lot of these fighters act like we don't notice. As you mentioned, a lot of these guys aren't truly building their own legacies....they're just waiting on one big fight.
We saw how Amir Khan sold out for a Floyd fight that he never got and he has way more fans than these young guys nowadays.
I think we're all smart enough to know not to get cheated out of our money for guys who are after a money grab...they rarely perform when the bright lights gleam.
Another thing that bothers me is when these guys finally get that one big fight, they fuckin disappear for damn near a year or two, then come back to the sport like they just woke up from a nap.
You must've been 1 of those people who thought A mere con actually had a shot at beating Floyd. You can't even compare Con to Andrade. Even a little bit. Con been ducking Brook.
Andrade would gladly accept that or whoever you feel is the Brook equivalent at 160.

Everybody's so entitled in boxing and it's a damn shame. It's almost as though guys like Andrade and Charlo and so on won't fight each other because they're afraid to "lose their spot" in line against the big names.
What spot are we talking about, exactly? Oh yeah, the imaginary spot that they've given themselves out of entitlement.
Canelo's fought just about everybody and he's jumping up and down in weight while these other guys are barely fighting.
It's getting old. Unfortunately for them, Canelo can make a fight with anybody....they can't do the same.

Sweet Scions Yep, it comes with the territory I guess. At times I just feel like if I don't tell the truth who will? Too many get comfortable with propaganda.
Why would casuals being aware of Andrade determine whether "someone who actually follows the sport" would be ok with Canelo fighting a legitimate threat or not?
I wrote a response to something you said about Andrade before. It's in my notes I just never sent it. Lol
This dude really come in my threads to say the same thing all the time. 😂 I'm gonna send the response probably when I feel like going back and forth one day.
Only in boxing does an undefeated champion have to "deserve" a unification with another champion in. His. Own. Weight. Class. You can't make this shìt up.
What "risk" hasn't he tried to take, & how is Andrade solely waiting for Canelo?
Do you have a yes or no answer to the thread title?
Internet shìt be having you soft aśs nićcas feeling so comfy. 😂 Difference of opinion gotu feeling like you a gangsta.
I just want you to suck my dìck & take it as personal as possible tough guy.
#CaneloJacobs #GGGDerevyanchenko not interesting or competitive? No way he'd defeat Canelo?
Do you have a yes or no answer to the thread title?
There's actually a lot of people who dispute that, some of them are in this thread. Are you ok with him avoiding Andrade is the question?
As far as Andrade I mean is it not blatantly obvious all the champs in his division don't want to fight him? He's fought 3 times in the last 13 months & it'll likely be 4 times in the last 16 months. He's tryna stay active & tryna fight the best. Better yet what should he be doing that he isn't IYO?
See this is a decent comment. I respectfully disagree but it's decent.
I'll never understand why people especially "people who actually follow the sport" make excuses for the best NOT to fight the best tho..
I’d rather Canelo fights him sooner than later ,thinking that would avoid the usual excuses
And yes it would bother me if they didn’t fight cause it’s a fight I would like to see
Sweet Scions Yep, it comes with the territory I guess. At times I just feel like if I don't tell the truth who will? Too many get comfortable with propaganda.
Casuals haven't heard of Andrade. So to answer your question, yes, unless he has a win against someone of note (GGG).
Why would casuals being aware of Andrade determine whether "someone who actually follows the sport" would be ok with Canelo fighting a legitimate threat or not?
I dont see Andrade as being THAT good so I could give a f#ck about him getting his chance vs Canelo. For the life of me I dont see what mfers seeing in Andrade that has them so excited for his chances vs the best guys out there. To me cats saying Andrade can fight are the same as the cats saying Hughie could fight. All yall seeing sh^t as far as Im concerned. Hughie was trash. And Andrade is trash at the elite level. Hes a respectable top ten guy, but hes NEVER gonna be #1 in this division or any other worth a damn division.
I think hed go 1-5 vs the main cats at 160 & the only guy he beats is a washed GGG if he even beats him. Canelo beats him. SD beats him. Danny if he moves back to 160 beats him unless hes washed too or the weight cut diminishes him. Mall beats him. BJS beats him. GGG vs Andrade is maybe 50/50 or 60/40 one way or the other.
I wrote a response to something you said about Andrade before. It's in my notes I just never sent it. Lol
This dude really come in my threads to say the same thing all the time. 😂 I'm gonna send the response probably when I feel like going back and forth one day.
Andrade hasn't taken any risk and does not deserve nelo. **** nelo might never go back to 160. Maybe everybody at 160 should fight each other to possibly earn a shot at the big dog but nah they all wait for the nelo payday that may never come. They are wasting their primes in hope's of nelo payday.

I would love to see Andrade fight Canelo
Not sure what it is ( maybe cause he reminds me of Ronald Winky Wright ) but there’s just something about Andrade
Andrade imo would give him a great fight , and also the fact that Boo Boo fights to his opponents potential
Yes I would like to see it but unfortunately I don’t think Canelo will ever come back down to 160
Do you have a yes or no answer to the thread title?
Uh, I can’t just say these guys would automatically beat Andrade, we have to see the fights, idiot. But Trout, Lara, Cotto, Golovkin, Jacobs, Kovalev when Canelo fought them are capable of beating Andrade. And hell, even Chavez Jr., Kirkland, and Smith are probably capable.
If you think there’s anyone on Andrade’s resume that Canelo isn’t capable of beating you’re a complete idiot.
Trout before a potential Mayweather fight = risk. Mayweather at 23 years old = risk. Lara two fights after Mayweather = risk. Golovkin = risk. Jacobs = risk. Kovalev two divisions higher = risk.
So because Saunders f**ked up the one good fight for Andrade, that’s why his whole career is s**t? Lmao
Get Andrade’s nuts out your mouth, boy.
Internet shìt be having you soft aśs nićcas feeling so comfy. 😂 Difference of opinion gotu feeling like you a gangsta.
I just want you to suck my dìck & take it as personal as possible tough guy.
The middleweight world isn’t very interesting or competitive these days. Andrade is still a nobody, and there’s no way he’d defeat Canelo.
Golovkin may be next. Part III. And I think Canelo would actually knock him out at this point.
Old white guys make a good feast.
#CaneloJacobs #GGGDerevyanchenko not interesting or competitive? No way he'd defeat Canelo?
Do you have a yes or no answer to the thread title?
Canelo should fight Andrade yes, no one is disputing that.
But seeing as it's clear that he WON'T fight Andrade, meanwhile what is Andrade doing with his career? That is the question you should be asking yourself.

Andrade really doesn't help himself, when he's in against mediocre opposition, he's got to commit a little more and actually entertain. I don't really care if Canelo doesn't fight him, purely because it would probably be a snoozefest anyway. It is worth noting however that Andrade certainly sounds like he will fight anyone and i respect that at least
