Why cant Canelo ever pull away on the score cards?

He doesn't throw enough and lets himself be outworked, and it's just a thing that's been part of his career since he hit world class. It is what it is. Whether it's his stamina or or just a patience he prefers or some mix of both, I don't know. He trusts his ability to counter and win rounds with harder shots.

He was winning 7-3 at the time of the stoppage. Most of you don’t know what to score in a fight. That’s why he can’t “pull away”. Because you don’t know how to score a fight.

It doesn't matter about style either as long as your not a total can he cant win decisively. He did good to KO Kov cause it would have been another fight that would have been controversial. And Kov literally was out boxing him with just a pitty patty jab fighting scared lol. He felt Canelos power and fought that way i dont think this fight was fixed. The same reason you dont generally see top fighters stop each other. It’s the quality of fighters. Fight enough top guys and its bound to be close. The guy is 29, still learning, and has tons of fights on film for people to analyze and has fought almost every style you can think of. I like to crack my canelo jokes here and there but I’m not mad at him having close fights considering it’s against men that are close to being toss up fights to begin with. He’s fighting elite fighters and it’s why he’s the cash cow. Gets in the ring with these fighters that legitimately have what it takes to beat him.
