Kov said this fight was too soon from his last fight, yet he still took the fight since it was "Canelo Money". Would Ward stay in retirement if he was offered the "Canelo Money" as well? How would this fight play out at 175?
Integrity or massive ego, either way I don’t see him being bought out to come into the fight in less than perfect shape.
You just described "integrity".
Ward has too much integrity to whore himself out like Kovalev.

Depends how much Ward values his 0. He will beat ginger but lose on the cards
This is what I was going to say. Is Ward willing to risk his 0 and take the chance of leaving it in the judges hands
If it’s a tune up or tune up’s then Ward easily takes care of Canelo but without a tune up which is what Golden Fishnets promotions will be offering then Canelo will get a decision win!
I gave him credit for knocking out Kovalev without weight restrictions or tune up but beating a retired Ward who’s a full time commentator coming down to 175 from likely 200+ on more than a year lay-off is too much to give credit for!
Canelo should just clean out 168, he’s faster and quicker than everyone there and has much more experience than e everyone there combined!
His toughest fights at this point is Beterbiev, Callum Smith and Andrade in that order!
Ward would easily beat Canelo but that's no knock on Canelo as he should exclusively be at at 160.
This fight could sell if Ward takes it with no tune up and they hype it up with his injuries and inactivity.
Can't see this fight ever happening...Ward, for all his faults, wouldn't just lay down for Nelo...and let's be real, Nelo won't be taking that fight unless he can rather easily add the scalp to his resume.
You kidding, Ward would think he should be paid more than Canelo.
I wonder why Ward would think that. I heard Ward couldn't even sell out his hometown in Oakland and people were able to get tickets to his fight from the local barber shops. If he can't even sell out in his hometown, I wonder why he would think he should get paid more than Canelo.
