Good question...I wouldn’t doubt it if Team Alvarez made Team Kovalev sign a non-disclosure agreement about some of the drug testing. If you make millions per fight, you can stay a step ahead of testing. Look at Memo...he got very quite all the sudden..? Designer Drugs are expensive, but they work, all comes back to the mighty, mighty dollar

Canelo got caught roiding and it got brushed under the rug. If you mention it today you get called a number of slurs, people want to forget it ever happened. The man is clearly taking PEDs. Yeah like Tyson Fury and his wild boar excuse. Should have had his Vlad win disallowed. Some are totally protected and can get away with nearly anything.

Guys here seem to have never watched an older fighter who's been KO'ed a few times start just losing their punch resistance completely. We've seen Kov get rocked by Ward, then Alvarez knocked him out cold, then Yarde had him on queer street, then Canelo finished him for good. There's no conspiracy, Kovalev is just done as a top level fighter. Any of the LHW would have put his lights out even easier last night. He cashed himself out, good for him. Hopefully he retires now or we will start seeing him unconscious every fight he has against anyone B level or above

Y’all underestimating how shot kovalev is Kov still knocked out a young LHW last fight. And threw actual right hands that fight. He pulled punches all night last night. Its not so much that he lost, its that he didnt TRY. If he went out on his shield in a blaze of glory, ok, but he fought scared vs a middleweight the entire night and didnt change anything when he was at risk of losing on the cards.

Both Kov and GGG lost punch resistance around age 35.

And obviously they dont have to cut weight as heavies, so what the hell was going on. He is a consistent fighter in his training too yet never had this happen before or after. His blood sugar was all ****ed up and low and then they claim they lost his blood samples at the hospital. Maybe he pissed off some russian mob or something. IDK what it was but it was weird. He was exhausted from round 1, it was not like the Ross Purity fight with him tired in the late rounds.

How does a guy move 2 weight classes and take all these punches from a power puncher and stop him? Malignaggi also said this before the fight this is fishy as hell. canelo couldn't hurt or even drop Jacobs, couldn't hurt old man Cotto, couldnt hurt JCC Jr. etc. etc. but he KO lhw kovalev with two punches????????? hmmmmmmmmmmm Canelo did hurt Cotto, badly, which is why Cotto ran at points. Canelo did hurt JCC Jr which is why JCC Jr didnt fight..just covered up and moved for 12 rounds (like Clottey). Jacobs is not much smaller than Kovalev and he got caught with some good shots, but nothing like the final combination Tbh I'm a Canelo fan, but it was a timely fight for Canelo. Yarde almost KTFO Kovalev in the 2nd half of fight, Alvarez did KTFO Kovalev in 2nd half as did Ward. Kovalev has been trending down over the last 2-3 years late in fights and Canelo was able to maintain very high pressure People whine about steroids, but if Canelo did use a PED it wouldve been something for stamina not power. Canelo was full steam most of the night - impressive. Canelo can enter conversation for PFP #1 even if Kovalev was a shadow of himself...2 weight classes is 2 weight classes.

i respect your opinion and i think GGG won the first but the second one i think canelo beat GGG at his own game... in a 3rd fight , id pick canelo by stoppage Thanks...I wouldn't be surprised...GGG is kind of a tank though so it would surprise me a bit if he got KOed...but Nelo is looking stronger than ever right now

If they fought again I think Canelo would have to be favored...but idk I felt fight 2 was 50-50 going in but GGG still outworked him and won that one 8-4 again for me, just like fight 1.
