Tyson Fury is known for his charitable giving around his hometown of Morecambe, and in Manchester. He doesn't do it to look good in the media, majority of the time it isn't even covered. He is revered in those areas for giving back to the communities. Tyson said he would donate his purse from the Wilder fight to help build housing and provide services for people suffering with addiction and living homeless. Apparently his purse was £2.5m but his total earnings were closer to £7m. The only people who have been openly critical of Fury, and questioned his sincerity, are the likes of Eddie Hearn. Real lecherous folks. The Gypsy King wasn't trying to make headlines, wasn't looking for praise, he stated it in a matter of fact way. Think he had said it off camera and then got pressed about it on camera by someone like Michelle Joy Phelps.
I can verify this because I live in that same area myself, about halfway between Morecombe and Manchester.
If it's his business then he shouldn't say he's gonna donate it in front of a camera for publicity.
Usually people just donate, or do charitable work without announcing it to the masses.
So therefore Tyson Fury was just stating that for some sort of positive media 'He probably did donate some of the money, but for me? I don't really think he should of stated it'.
There are people out there who dedicated TIME & EFFORT to help others 'Time & Effort' is your greatest commodity and currency.
Shrewd move. Gets the plaudits.
If Joshua did this he would be called out for virtue signalling but Tyson Fury has a man of the people persona so gets away with it.
That is what he said but there is no known proof he did that. Maybe he did and maybe he didn't. He is a big bragger and not a guy I would believe without any doubt.
I don't think He donated "entire purse", but then no one should expect him to. He's doing some charity stuff and it's his business anyway.

What He actually said is "I might donate my purse to charity", making a point that He wasn't fighting for money... When I saw that interview I didn't take it as something definitive, but then it made headlines and people took it out of context and it became it's own story. I think it put him in bad position to back out then.
