This thread is to compare his mutual opponents/performance against them with other top 154lbers & 160lbers. The following names are either a champ, ex champ, or became very close to being a champ:
Erislandy Lara
Jermell Charlo
GGG
Tony Harrison
Sergiy Derevyanchenko
Billy Joe Saunders
Daniel Jacobs
2012 Erislandy Lara vs Vanes Martirosyan I, TD (No real recollection but I hear most thought Lara was winning pretty clearly until the fight was stopped)
2013 Demetrius Andrade vs Vanes Martirosyan, DA SD 12 (We all know it shoulda been a UD)
2015 Jermell Charlo vs Vanes Martirosyan, UD10 (Vanes lost a close fight to Charlo that he personally &, I've heard others maintain that he's won till this day. I personally thought Charlo won 6-4.)
2016 Erislandy Lara vs Vanes Martirosyan II, EA UD12 (Clear Lara win)
2018 Gennady Golovkin vs Vanes Martirosyan, GGG KO2 (Easy night, all things considered)
2015 Tony Harrison vs Willie Nelson, WN KO9 (Harrison faded & got KO'D)
2016 Demetrius Andrade vs Willie Nelson, DA TKO12 (Dominant performance)
2016 Billy Joe Saunders vs Artur Akavov, BJS UD12 (people say it was BJS toughest fight to date/poor performance by him)
2019 Demetrius Andrade vs Artur Akavov, DA TKO12 (No argument you can make in comparison to BJS performance in terms of Akavov beating Andrade)
2017 Demetrius Andrade vs Jack Culcay, DA SD12 (Andrade's worst notable career performance. Still another terrible result of judging as he won clearly but didn't look himself)
2019 Sergiy Derevyanchenko vs Jack Culcay, SD MD10 (the fight was the definition of "life & death" & could've probably went the other way or a draw)
Random fact: Culcay beat Hogan (who a lot of people believe beat Munguia) who is fighting Jermall Charlo next
2018 Daniel Jacobs vs Maciej Sulecki (The decision looked like it was going to be very questionable until Jacobs knocked him down. That sealed his win.)
2019 Demetrius Andrade vs Maciej Sulecki, DA UD12 (Andrade made Sulecki look like he didn’t belong in the ring with him. Night & day performance in comparison to Jacobs.)
So what can be gathered from this comparison is that of all the top names, GGG is the only one who had a better performance amongst common opponents than Andrade. When GGG fought Vanes, Vanes was essentially retired before that fight & hasn't fought since. He moved up to a weight class he never fought in, to fight arguably the best middleweight at that time & took the fight on short notice.
The only other name you can say had a better performance would be Lara & that was his 2nd time facing Vanes. The purpose of this thread was just to provide context & can be looked at as a guage point.
Mandatories ducking so naa
I told you to never quote me on this site again. I don't wanna interact with you on this shìt
Translation, just an Andrade fanboi thats so angry at Andrades career you come on here trying to debate boxing but can't take it when you're lame ass arguments are exposed as sheer biased shilling:bottle:
Don't be mad at me Andrade is just another average boogieman that will eternally wait for a payday cashout, maybe if you're lucky he'll finally grow some balls to sacrifice & finally get a decent name on his resume by age 35,the guys already like 32 & fought nobody but C/D levels, you should be mad at Andrade not the guy calling it how it is. Andrades now even getting turned down by Canadian jobbers like the supposed mando he was wanting to face next. Why can't the guy actually fight someone his own size at smw or above? Hed rather keep wasting his career waiting on nelo sweepstakes
You're looking for an echo chamber because you can't handle the truth :baby:
cashout
Does he got a fight lined up yet or no?
Mandatories ducking so naa
Akavov got robbed by Andrade, that was a bs stoppage,& to this day the scorecards haven't been released (clearly because Andrade won every rd even though he didn't dominate Akavov & the bought ref was told to gift Andrade the stoppage) Andrade got dropped by Vanes, you also forgot to mention. And in all the performances you mentioned you forget to point out that he fought like complete garbage as he always does.
If that wasn't bad enough he barely scraped by Culcay & at the time he & everyone else thought Culcay was a no talent no hoper,(hes C level at best) Culcay was a tiny midget with no power yet Andrade went life & death with him for most the fight despite looking like a giant next to tiny ass lil Culcay. & Andrade was even dropped by Fox despite "dominating" that fight,(as much as anything Andrade does can be called dominant)
Andrade sux & has looked completely average vs fighters he towers over & has a huge rehydration advantage over. The fact that your talking about fighters like Culcay as being anything besides complete no hopers shows just how much your reaching to fit your narrative that Andrade is good, even though out of the list of opponents you mentioned fighters like Canelo & ggg would've kod with ease.
Andrade has no power & is the definition of nothing special whatsoever, hes lucky ppl consider him B level(his resume sux & he doesn't even have many kos over his sucky opponents)

when you are talking about akavov and sulecki you know you have wandered into the fantasy realm. he hasnt beaten anyone good.
What does it say that apart from GGG really, the top names in the divisions he's been in have had a more difficult time than he has with the same opponents he's faced?
when you are talking about akavov and sulecki you know you have wandered into the fantasy realm. he hasnt beaten anyone good. does he deserve a chance against a top 5 guy? yes but thats a different story

- -Sulecki got KOed by Rosado, but boxing wanting to boot Sulecki down the road saved him for Androgynous...Zzzzzz
Maybe...thus why I am interested in seeing him in more/better fights
I am definitely looking forward to Andrade's next few fights...how easily he beat Sulecki impressed me
