Excluding ggg since that boy has already been exposed.
Crawford is yet again in another mismatch. He's supposed be the best p4p but his best win is little Gamboa.
He's a 3 division champ yet his resume is still trash. He's kinda like Broner in that aspect
Canelo beat jacobs more clearly than GGG did. In fact, GGG has no clear win over a great middle.
Jacobs ignored Canelo's rehydration clause you tard :lol1:
No he didn’t, he only ignored as much of it as he could afford to.
The biggest illusion, like it or don't, would be Canelo. He is, at best, 1-1 with the aging former king of the division but other than that disputed win, he hasn't got a single win over 160 without a special weight stipulation.
If he beats Kovalev clearly, without favorable judging, it would be his first.
Canelo's career is a good one but is presented as something better than it is, as much illusion as substance.

Nope. Two supposed elite P4P fighters who haven't really proven it
Crawford's situation is worse since he hasn't been in the ring with anyone elite at all.
I hope you were drunk and mad while posting this pure nonsense. C’mon Man. Bud’s the real deal, loyalty to TR kinda has him effed up right now. I believe he will get some PBC opportunities soon, then he’ll show what elite is. Eye test don’t lie
Another useless thread coming from the same clown.
You can say the same thing over and over again and what does that prove? Pathetic Boxing Champions won't fight him. If he's such an illusion then tell your heroes in the Haymon camp to fight and expose him.

Read the article and stop spreading misinformation on the internet. Here is a portion:
Hopkins, an ex-convict, was a maverick middleweight champion who spent years railing against a boxing industry he felt too heavily favored promoters financially, and felt that fighters were exploited. He had sued two previous promoters, Butch Lewis and Dan Goossen.
Although DiBella was in the process of leaving HBO and signing several 2000 U.S. Olympians -- including Taylor -- under the terms of his exit package from the network, he made Hopkins his first high-profile signing.
They seemed perfect for each other, both intent on reforming the system.
DiBella seemed to be able to get through to the stubborn Hopkins, finally arranging for his entry into promoter Don King's middleweight championship unification series in 2001. The move guaranteed Hopkins seven-figure paydays after never having earned more than about $500,000 for a fight.
As I told you Hopkins had no prior contractual affiliation with King and had to sign with King to unify and get the fights vs the other guys no different than the bull**** Haymon/PBC are doing to Crawford. Yet if you bring up King doing the same its "naw PBC/Haymon different"
technically we're both right and wrong. He was signed to Dibella, but also dealing with King. I don't know the contract details, but it was messy when he broke up with Dibella(remember him mentioning his brother) who had Jermaine Taylor that was supposed to be the next great thing and his split with King was bad too. But he definitely was dealing with king long before Tito moved up to mw.
Hopkins was on King promoted cards long before then. Joe Lipsey fight was on Tyson vs Bruno 2nd fight(which Christy Martin stole the show that led to Sports Illustrated cover). You don't Remember Hopkins vs Allen II when he went off on Jim Gray about Don King, but when King gets beside him , he acts like he was talking about someone else? And Hopkins was a champion before Joppy. They were champions at the same time.

Hopkins signed with King for the middleweight tournament. Prior to it he had no connection to King and was not getting a shot a Joppy or Holmes for their titles. My point stands.

Can't be a hype job at this point and not this far in his career after unifying 140 then moving up and destroying Jeff Horn...which looks like nothing now but at the time he beat a Jeff Horn that had a Win (BS Win but still a Win) over Pacquiao. Crawford walked through Horn easily
So no Bud Crawford Talent and Skill wise in the ring is very Much at Top 3 P4P TALENT! However, if I had a P4P Rank I would have to start deducting and dropping him down those Ranks because his Resume is actually getting worse which I don't even know how that is possible. Sorry, I cannot accept "Nobody Wants To Fight Him..." Excuse when Shawn Porter (Well technically Kenny Porter for Shawn :lol1: ) recently called him out but Arum shoots the idea down right away. So it sounds to me like his own Boss is holding him back from getting big fights. To get PBC guys to go over, they're going to have to overpay, just like Eddie Hearn made the investment and overpaid drastically to get Charles Martin to go and fight AJ in the UK.
If Bob Arum can't do anything for him then let him go make those fights on his own instead of him losing money on trying to please him like he did by overpaying for Amir Khan :dunno:
Not everybody becomes a big star or a big draw in this sport, that is just the harsh reality that stubborn Prideful Fans struggle with. They want their guy to be a Superstar and they won't take no for an answer. The reality is, for a lot of guys who are great fighters they will NEVER be Superstars no matter how good they are in the ring :dunno:
It has been plenty of GREATS who was NEVER Crossover Superstars and never made the Big Money

Another dumb poster :sad6::liar:
So if you dominate a division for a decade and you win titles in multiple weight classes you are hypejobs? So who isn't a hypejobs? Let me guess, you will come back with Canelo, Ward and Wilder.
Hype jobs any fighter who held a ibo and wbu titles then loses at first attempt at a real world title:sad6:
yea, bud is my boy... but he is takng the... "spoilt, only-child"... route
just like Bradley, and Pacquiao before him
I can't defend TC... just like I could not defend my boy Bradley
" because of boxing politics, I may never face the best in my division "
~ Tim Bradley... shortly after signing with Top Rank
shame
in saying that... Crawford could be, and is right up there with... the VERY best fighters in the world
no question
and yep, I favor him over Spence... always did, long before the Porter fight

If YOUR EYES cant SEE the difference between Broner and Crawford best to get a red cane and get into competitive shooting.

Crawford has all clear wins though...fighting better comp with mixed results doesn't really vault someone over Crawford in my view...if the dude wasn't top 5-10 at worst pfp it would have shown up long before now...and he has a real case for number 1 imo.
