My short list was Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo, Ward. Mayweather has a win over Pacquaio and Canelo and it'd be hard for me to pick them over him, but I do think they have cases considering they have both been active since the start of the decade and had some major accomplishments in 2019. Ward has some huge wins in Froch and Kovalev, he had a really great run and fought a number of quality opponents. In the end though I have to give it to Mayweather, not only for his wins against Pacquiao and Canelo, both wins that keep looking better and better, but also for his prominence in putting a very clear personal stamp on boxing history.

How can a guy who lost to Marquez, Mayweather and Jeff Horn in the decade be the fighter of that decade? Makes no sense. It's between Canelo and Mayweather. Mayweather beat two of the other candidates so you'd imagine that he'd be winning it. Only issue is he retired half way through the decade.

Between Floyd and Manny it's Pacquiao. He's still active and still at a high level. Don't know how Floyd would have done if he hadn't retired. Probably would have had a few losses to people Pac destroyed. Floyd denied us that. Pac FOTD
