I know most are sick of him or hate him, and I’m honestly not the fondest of Mayweather myself.
But he is undoubtedly a HOF talent and arguably one of the ATG talents ever.
So, say he did return and fought Pac in a rematch, and wins decisively, does it change your opinion of him (boxing wise) any or how much does it elevate his legacy in your opinion ?
Canelo (future IBHOF)
Genaro Hernandez
Diego Corrales
JLC (future IBHOF, maybe, I think 1 of JLC, Corrales or Hernandez eventually gets in)
Gatti
Zab Judah
ODLH ( IBHOF)
Hatton ****future IBHOF)
V.Ortiz
JMM (IBHOF)
Mosely (Future IBHOF)
R Guerrero
M.Cotto (future IBHOF)
Maidana
Pac (future IBHOF)
Berto
Not a Floyd fan at all but I have to admit that, that is a pretty deep resume with about 7-9 IBHOF/future IBHOF (not including Gatti who got in because of the excitement he brought rather than his ring accomplishments) in their. That is much more impressive when you compare his resume with the current gen of top WW boxers, Crawford's best win for example was against a blown up Gamboa, Postol and a battle worn Khan, none of those 3 guys would even sniff the HOF.
IMO, TBE (not The Best Ever) beating GrandPac the second time won't elevate nor downgrade his legacy, he already beat him when they were younger anyway... Same with GrandPac miraculously beat TBE (not The Best Ever), it won't elevate nor downgrade his legacy...
Actually, if they fought 10 years ago, it could've made a difference... But after that time, nope...
