I believed that Spence was going to be a dominating force at welterweight seeing him destroy the lower tier fighters but now that he’s facing good competition, it’s like his power disappeared. Has he gotten off the juice now that he’s PPV? Did he ever have dynamite in his fists? Was he just fighting cabbies and retirees? He’s no longer the action star I thought he’d be. I can understand why he’s avoiding Crawford so much now.
He’s not the Truth. He’s The Decision. Errol “The Decision” Spence.
I don’t wanna see him fight Pacquiao—that’s two decision makers right there. Fight J Rock? He’s definitely not carrying any significant power to 54. If he wins it’s another decision. He needs to be the bad guy to get people to watch him. He’s not fooling me anymore with his hype train.
Spence is not the monster some posters on here state , but he is a world class fighter non the less......that left hand in the 11th was precision punching up close ....amazing timing to land like that up close especially after 11 brutal non stop rounds.....I probably had it 6 even in rounds won and to be fair if spence never caught him with that shot porter would have won that round and said pence would have needed to sop him in my eyes.
Porter showed real grit and an engine that was superhuman.....let’s cheer for such a great fight and stop putting down on both fighters....both earned there money last night, great fight
mikey never fought at welterweight before and was more of a natural lightweight. spence supposed to be the biggest most feared puncher at welterweight yet couldn't drop or even stop a natural lightweight. same mikey who was dropped by a jab at 130.
porter looked bad in his last fight and was hurt and dropped (but for some reason called a slip) by ugas. he was also dropped by frickin broner and had his knees buckled few times against thurman. people say spence is the most feared yet couldn't put porter on his butt. the knockdown was just porter's glove touching canvas for a split second.
face it. spence is an overrated weight bully. without the height and weight advantage he'd be mediocre. After all these years you still dksab

Nobody will be KOing Porter or Danny Garcia.
IMO Spence has himself to blame for the high standards placed upon him.
He was quoted as saying he'd be disappointed if he didn't KO Porter .
I voted Spence / Dec / Close on the Pick 'em by the way .
It was a tough fight, everyone has them.
He did well, he won in a tough fight. Imo that's a feather in the cap for Spence.
Porter is a strong guy. Wtf do you guys expect? that he'll just walk through everyone?
gtfo with that fanboy crap. Spence is the truth.

we thought golovkin was going to be a force too...we thought he was gonna slaughter canelo and end his career....well we thought that because his fans told us thats what was going to happen...we saw he wasnt such a killer when he stepped up too....so whatever....its not that easy right?
To be fair, Canelo is a HoF’er and one of a handful of active elite level fighters. Porter is neither a HoF’er nor elite. Spence is not who we thought he was and who he presented himself as. His peers are Porter/Thurman/Garcia, all good fighters but not elite.

You had me until the knockdown. That knockdown was brutal, I don’t see how Porter survived it. It was like his soul left his body, saw the light and came back to his body before he could face plant.
This is normal. When fighters are coming up they are carefully matched against people they should beat. Once they get to championship level they now have to fight elite fighters. Knockouts become very rare because the opposition is more skilled, stronger and durable.
Lmao. It’s obvious none of these guys know anything about boxing. Crawford went 12 rounds with Jose Benavidez. It’s called boxing for a reason you can’t knock everyone out
Yet, here we all are talking about how spencer got worked and received a gift against porter, who got robbed of a rightful win so spencer and his handlers could save face.
How did Crawford, the true king of welterweight, end up in this thread? :dunno:
we all? No! Just some of you. The same ones who always hating on PBC. Same ones who always making threads about DAZN. You all really can’t stand the fact that PBC has foty. That’s not what they are talking about anywhere else. Everyone else talking about how good of a fight it was. How did Crawford end up being discussed? Same way Spence is discussed after every Crawford fight lol. If the fight wasn’t close you closer racists would still have something to complain about to try to take away from the fact that Haymon/PBC put on best fight of the year.
