So.....
BoxingScene Pound for Pound Top Ten
By Cliff Rold
1) Terence Crawford (35-0, 26 KO)
2) Inoue
3) Loma
Does anyone not see how ignorant this guy is? he always tried to put his own opinion out there rather than actual fact and I don't feel like that's how proper journalism needs to be handled.
He has a guy that has one world level win over 3 weight world champ Lomachenko! How the F is that possible? I mean, all but a few of Loma's wins are better than every one of Inoue's wins ffs. Not to say that the guy is not a stud destined for greatness, but how do you rank him over Loma right now? That's absurd.
Is this guy off his rocker? I don't know how old he is but he seems to be senile.
The question is, is Loma ranked behind Inoue? Or even Crawford? Poll coming
Vote, discuss. :boxing:
Pound for pound lists are subjective. I don't even have one though. I just have Cosme Rivera in my top 10, mostly to spite people like you who take the whole concept super seriously.
We're talking about Cosme Rivera Sr. here, not his son. Could you imagine a prime Cosme Rivera vs a prime Carlos Baldomir? That would be one for the ages.
Ok, now I get it. You're f@cking around or DKSAB
At some point you have to wonder why everyone else has a different list than yourself and question just how objective that you are and how much you actually know about the sport.

I'll never understand why people care about P4P lists. It's just someone's opinion, everyone is entitled to their own. If you don't like it, make your own list.
I have Cosme Rivera in my top 10. Sue me.

Honestly......two votes for Inoue?
How? He has beaten nobody of consequence ffs! At least the dimwits claiming Canelo is P4P#1 can say that he has a bogus win over GGG and old, shot Cotto. Inoue has like a couple top ten wins against other unproven fighters and people think he's the best fighter in the world? Gimme a break
Usyk is still my p4p number 1 since he recently cleaned up his division and doing it by beating the champs in their backyards, badàss!
Canelo will be pound for pound number one IF he beats Kovalev legitimately due to the fact he’s doing something that hasn’t been done in a long time and would be holding belts in multiple divisions which also hasn’t been done in a very long time!
1. Usyk
2. Loma
3. Canelo
4. Crawford
5. Estrada
6. Pacquiao
7. Spence
8. Inoue
9. Vacant
10. Kovalev
To me it's Inoue. I don't think any other boxer is as vastly superior to any boxer his weight as In oue. He just crushes any boxer his weight. I can see the possibility of all the others losing a fight to another boxer in their current weight class except Inoue.
You know that Loma is fighting well above his best weight right? If he was still at 126 or 130 it would be pointless to even watch him fight.
Inoue has beaten nobody worth a sh@t so far to prove that he can impress on the big stage.

It does seem like that. Resumes will always be about opinions but fans should at least put a little thought behind what they're saying.
Yep exactly man
Yeah I think a lot of people seem to overhype 'names' sometimes on these resumes...I think a lot of it is from Floyd's days and a lot of his fans tout wins like that because that is how Floyd did a lot of his fights.
And then Canelo is kind of following in those footsteps...so those two fanbases kind of unite on that issue it seems.

I'm not surprised any more when fans say Canelo's resume is great and then go on to say Cotto is a top win.
If you just look at Cotto's record before he fought Canelo it's obvious Cotto was shot.
Going into the Alvarez fight, Cotto had lost to Magarito and Pac and both fights were beat downs.
Miguel was also in a war with Floyd, who almost stopped him. Finally he lost to Trout and that's Trout's only "good" win as Austin went on to lose to Alvarez, Williams, Hurd and both Charlos.
Cotto becoming MW champ, with his win over the one-legged Martinez, was all about clever match making and behind the scenes BS. IMO

canelo beat GGG and Lara and Cotto are better then anyone Loma or GGG or Crawford has beaten
Idk I saw GGG win both vs Nelo 8-4...good fights but each one with a clear winner imo.
Lara was a good 7-5 win imo for Nelo...but same type level as GGG's Jacobs or Murray win for me...and come on man...if GGG brought Cotto out right now and fought him how much credit would you give him if he stopped him?
Gotta take into account when/where/how what weight, what version, etc of that fighter that a guy beat.
GGG overall imo has been more impressive in his career than Nelo, even apart from those 2 fights...Nelo is a great fighter though I can't hate on him a bit.
And I mean how can you hype up Nelo's win over Cotto for example...but dismiss Loma's wins over Rigo and Walters...just not really keeping it real imo
Wow....
Ok, DQ'd from any real conversation about this.
Bye
Yeah I like that guy but that is a wild comment lol...Loma already has a top current resume and he has like 15 fights
Lara? No, I don't think so and funny you mention him because Canelo may have lost to him too. As far as Cotto, he was very long in the tooth at that stage. And GGG beat him so you can give that up. Usyk is undefeated, never been close to losing and cleaned out the entire CW division, which Canelo has not done. I think the debate is very live there.

1)Canelo (best resume)
2)Usyk (undisputed)
3)Crawford (undisputed)
4)Lomachenko (Won a title in his 3rd fight)
5)Pacquiao
P4P is not based just on resume and if it was then Pacman would be #1.
Very poor P4P list I'm afraid.
Canelo has far more elite wins then Usyk..GGG,Lara, Cotto are better then anyone Usyk has beaten
