Hes a a fast explosive fighter with power and decent boxing skills but with the competition hes been facing its hard to gauge. He may be the goods but we have yet to see him face anyone decent.
His best and only good win Pedraza. From the opening bell marched face first into Tank and was fighting a dumb. No jabs, no probes, no boobing or weaving. Just stationary was landing some shots and taking some hard flush shots as well. Paulie and AL even said this is not normally how Pedrza fight and were perplexed in his decision.
Pauile even said Pedraza is showing no fundamentals like you have a sharp counter puncher like Tank use some faints.
With Loma he was on his bike most of the fight and was getting bullied inside.
Showtime has the full fight here.
Fonseca fight he looked really latargic. maybe trouble making the weight?
You have another guy whos slow and doesnt have speed, doesnt use faints and flat footed outboxing him and pushing him back in good spots.
Some examples
Controlled back with the jab gets clipped
Gets hurt by a counter shot to the body
Countered and hit by a huge right hand.
Loma is gonna faint, probe give you different looks. He is also a monstrous body puncher and a great jab and a vicious left hand that snaps your head back and makes you think twice.
My answer is yes, and if he can't beat Lomachenko, I'll donate 100,000 points to you.
That is generous but you don't have to. I just want to see the fight get made along with seeing fighters push themselves to see the best fights available. I love the sport as a whole and I think Tanks career could be handled so much better. If Floyds plan is to wait until Loma unifies then to have Tank fight for all the marbles and he pulls it off it will be genius. I don't like that Tank has been sitting on the shelf inbetween fighting opposition a couple levels below where he should be fighting. Hes got talent they need to sharpen his craft against elite fighters.
Some good fights but not the best fighting the best . I watched a video of Roberto Duran he was asked what he hates about boxing today those were his quotes I stole
the best have not been fighting the best for some time now, that's been an issue in boxing for years with a few good fights here n there
Haymon has put on some good fights, hes no different from any other promoter, floyd??? hes not a big player in the promoter game... as a business man i dont think he will put his best fighter in the a fighter like loma.

i thought it was easy to ko bums. i heard that over and over when ggg was doing it against much better competition so how do we know hes campable of ko'ing anyone?
Agreed, it’s much harder to knock out an elite fighter. But i’m just saying Lomachenko has been rocked by lesser punchers than Tank. But definitely expect to see Tanks knockout ratio decrease like we saw with GGG
I actually liked the one that fought Salido. I used to be a big Loma fan those days. The one that fought Campbell looked like shit to me.
That doesn't answer the question, do you think the version that fought Salido was a better version than present day Lomachenko?

Never knew that a 2nd pro fight was a fighters prime. Damn shame, on the other hand Clinton Mitchell and Rustico Torrecampo can now both brag that they beat a prime Bernard Hopkins and a prime Many Pacquioa.
Blame a wasted time in the amateurs.
That's cool. Lomachenko was beaten by a journeyman in his prime. Shit happens. That's boxing.

None of what you wrote matters because Floyd won't put him in the ring with Lomachenko. He's not trying to take any chances with his cash cow. The problem will be that Tank might eventually get beat by a much lesser fighter sooner or later.

Davis is starting his direct instructions to Floyd and Mayweather Promotions. The move to 135 next for Lomachenko was command #1. Keep watching.
Tank definitely doesn't call the shots in that circle. They're shooting for Farmer next.

The bold: That's a fairy tale.
Davis has elite boxing skills and a rock solid chin. He's so strong Loma's pitty pats won't register. He's taking punches from Spence whom he regularly spars.
Floyd is his defense co-trainer. How is Loma gonna bully him? He's actually stronger than Loma at 135, way stronger.
Let's see the fight?

You know damn well Davis needs to fight prime Roberto Duran and KO him in 1 round to get a little bit of credit.
Exactly. The hate from daggum is becoming unreal.
Davis has a punchers chance early. He has never gone past the 6th round.
That lack of deep rounds exp is going to be huge against an elite talent like Loma
