That fight was razor close before the KD in the 11th. Loma gave up the 9th and 10th rounds especially so I don't see how anyone could've given Loma either of those two rounds. Campbell legit hurt Loma and landed A LOT of punches against him--especially body shots.
I was surprised how well Luke did but no doubt in my mind Loma brought out the best in him and Luke made Loma think every second of every round.
I wish we could actually see a rematch but I don't know how keen Loma would be to fight him again because the fight was so difficult for Loma.
Anyone who thinks that was a whitewash simply doesn't know what they are watching.
According to CompuBox statistics, Lomachenko landed 211 of 527 punches (40%) and Campbell landed 131 of 420 (31%). Lomachenko, however, outlanded Campbell 140-73 from the seventh through 12th round, including the huge 11th and 12th rounds

Don’t let Bradley or Ward sell you on Loma getting hurt...
i saw it on spanish, they were sucking lomas nuts all night, no need for that, loma fought good...
So lets see, myself, the 3 ringside judges, and 80%+ of the forum gave Lomachenko those rounds, but I'm the idiot? Yeah go back to watching the WNBA, a sport more in line with your IQ.
Most of you have never boxed, you can’t see what’s landing or what’s not, you haven’t a clue what’s going on in the ring, you see Loma goof and think he must be winning, this is how Degale stole rounds and how Mayweather “dominates”. How did the boxers scoring have it? So yea, you are idiots.
You’re right. And the 11th was a very clear 10-8 for Luke. The knockdown was actually a masterful slip from Luke, and Loma deserved a point deduction.
What did loma win the 6th with? He landed 3 solid jabs and a little spurt, luke picked at him with solid bodyshots, jabs and ended the rd with flush and solid punches. Too many dumbasses in here.
Just watched rd 6 and Luke also clearly won that(numbers are near even, except Campbell lands the much better punches). So again. Fukin idiot.

Yeah Im sure it was random..... Campbell spent the whole fight hitting Lomas gloves including in the 10th a round which he lost because someone like you thinks hitting the gloves is actually landing punches.

Just went to a random rd (10) and Luke clearly won that. So you’re a fukin idiot.

I honestly had it very close I have Loma winning by a few rounds but the rounds that Loma one he won more clearly and the rounds look one he barely squeezed out. I had a bad feeling they were going to give him a HomeTown decision but luckily it didn't happen

i dont think campbell is a great fighter by any means, at least not in the pros imo, but it was a good fight, i dont know if its age, size or the opponents style but i really didnt expect loma to get hurt or had so many close rounds with luke, he won no doubt about it... good win regardless...

Campbell did very well, as expected. He is no joke.
I gave him one round (the first) which was basically a nothing round anyway. I had to stop watching around round 8 because I was getting breakfast for my kids - I hear that he also took rounds 9 and 10. But just because he only won 3 rounds doesn't mean it wasn't close.
Campbell frustrated Loma's offense. He used his extra reach to good effect, keeping a constant supply of straight punches coming, preventing Loma from closing the distance too easily. Loma had this totally worked out by round 3. He was slipping almost everything and sneaking in punches of his own. Campbell was still landing some clean shots, but often he did it while he was moving backwards and they had nothing on them at all. He was throwing his hands a lot, but without a lot of accuracy or plan. That's great for keeping distance if you have a big reach advantage, but not great for much else.
I think the biggest difference was in the footwork. Loma's feet are sublime. Campbell has a bit of an awkward stance, legs too far apart. This can be an effective way of using height and reach advantages (Vitali Klitschko was known for this) but it didn't seem to help Campbell too much.
I gave a lot of rounds to Campbell. I thought he was very smart in doing exactly what the experts said he had to do: use the long reach, be first, keep the jab going, and stay off the ropes.
It seemed Loma was simply waiting on him to tire, so for me, despite Loma briefly getting Campbell to the ropes or landing a powerful single punch now and then, a lot of rounds were dominated 2:30 to 0:30 by Campbell.
Gradually Loma's power punches became more impressive, and by the championship rounds he was in control.
