Is Anthony Yarde The Most Inexperienced World Level Boxer On Earth?

Yarde 12 amateur fights 19 pro Kovalev 215 amateur fights 38 pro Yarde proved that he belongs at world level in this fight, instantly becoming an intriguing and challenging opponent for anyone in the top 10. He came close to causing the upset, in scenes somewhat reminiscent of when Ortiz had Wilder in trouble, but was ultimately outboxed by the vastly more experienced Kovalev. Still, does this performance render Yarde as the most inexperienced World Level boxer on the planet?

yarde is not world level, stop it. Well then , neither is Kovalev since Yarde almost had him out in the 8th round Remember the kid only has 30 fights in his whole career and a terrible team around him

Easily, i didn't know he only had like 50 something rounds total at pro . I still would've picked him and would still in a rematch . I have to think they know how to attack and when much better. Kov is a very good fighter better then I thought but I see my original prediction coming true more then not.You were way wrong and there won't be a rematch. Do you think Yarde will ever get another title shot? I don't think so.

Kovalev. old week lion. Yarde . young strong lion. Now all of a sudden poor baby has no experience. Here come the excuses. He took the fight so he is supposed to be ready. He said he would KO Kovalev with a spectacular punch but he got KOed with a left jab. Put a fork in no stamina no chin Yarde because he is done and he won't be back. Imagine if Kovalev had been 28. Yarde could not have won with much more experience because he is not good enough.

Absolutely, the young man showed champion like quality with his chin, grit, heart and determination plus speed! Just needs to either add actual boxing training to his regiment or kick his trainer to the curb an get someone who knows what they’re doing! The OG’s in boxing have been kicking the younging’s àśśes this year! Lol Pacman vs Thurman Pascal vs Browne Now Kov vs Yarde and etc. Hopefully he can come back from this and learn!

Historically, Dwight Qawi had zero amateur fights and turned pro at like 25 I think

:). Stop it. You know that jab didn't knock him out. You could have plucked Yarde with your finger at that point and stopped him. He was actually finish in the prior round. Tank was past empty for sure. no sh/t! ;-)

Maybe, but he's definitely the only "world" level fighter to get KO'd by a jab. :D He took a lot of clean jabs before that so it wasn't really the jab alone that KOd him but the accumulation of punches over the fight combined with being gassed out late in the fight and diving head first into the jab trying to land his own hook.
