people just don't wanna put things into context. neither is ducking, nor TC or spence. People just dont like certain guys or promoters. Right now its cool to hate on Spence/PBC. Not saying PBC aint at fault but as a boxing fan how tf can u trust somebody like Arum either

I'm positive Spence Jr and Crawford had a man to man behind the scenes and talked about fighting each other and I'm sure Spence gave him his word that he will fight him and not leave the division without fighting him They don't need a promoter involved, if Crawford contract is truly up in a year, he doesn't have to sign with PBC just like Mikey Garcia did not sign with PBC. He can go and make the fight with Spence Jr on PPV and get all of his money without Arum taking a chunk of it. Nobody gets away cleanly from Arum though without either buying themselves out or sitting on the shelf for 1-2 years while trying to fight him in court Bob one of the greatest promotes ever but based on history Bob is a control freak, he would ruin negotiations by trying to come in and control everything. He did this when Mayweather vs Winky Wright was being negotiated with Gary Shaw, he did this with Kelly Pavlik vs Paul Williams 1st Negotiations with the late Dan Goossen this is just how Bob is People who don't know this are either New to watching this sport of boxing or they're pretending to be Naive to how Bob does business because it doesn't fit their "Spence Jr Is Ducking" narrative that they want to pay not because they truly believe that but they're running with that narrative in reaction to some Spence Jr Fans online who they hate
