This dude who walks around at 154+ pounds Could easily make 147. Easy. But for some reason he refuses to do so. He even had the opportunity to take on an aging pacqiauo at 140 but backed out because he didn't want to beat an old Legend ? Him stopping pacquaio specially in a dramatic fashion could have transcended into super stardom. If Loma decides to camp at 140-135 could he be a big PPV star or would he really need to man up and fight men his own size?
Man why do you want Loma to fight in a division that is way too big for him?
Is it the only way you see him actually losing.
So what your saying is he is not Pacquiao who has balls of adamantium then ?
No, he just needs other so-called top tier talents to step up and stop ducking him. Tank, Mikey, Santa Cruz, Berchelt, have all gone silent or made ridiculous excuses to avoid him. Hard to be a PPV star when none of the other tops names are willing to fight you.
Loma may never go to 140. I see him staying at 135 as long as he can unless a big money fight presents itself at 140.
Pacquiao previously wanted Loma at 140, I think Loma would take that risk now if Pacquiao is still interested.
You make a very valid point
And that fight would be fughin huge for both fighters
I’d rather Pac retires but if he don’t then this could be a way to go
Don’t see him taking too much punishment here
He has a major fight or two with Tank. If he wins those, it has to be 147, as there is nothing in 140 that will enhance his lagacy in my opinion, giving that he is getting older and needs to get a move on. On the flip side, if Tank beat Loma, once or twice, he could go there slower due to his age, he has more time. History does tell us that it's hard to be a star if you don't get to min 147. Pac is small and started very low, and he through so many weight divisions and became an ATG. It has to be done, look at Loma's size, he is big enough for 147 if he is as skilled as some say he is.

If pac can do it then I'm very sure loma who is more skillful and a little bigger than pac can do it with no problem.Pac is bigger than Loma. He weighed in at 147 for Thurman looking lean and hard. Loma would look soft weighi n at 147. Pac is the heavier man.
Yes because all it takes is skill and nothing else right lol
Heart, hunger, power, chin, mental toughness don’t count right.
Cmon man Pac is one of a kind Loma could only dream to be half the fighter he is.What the hell are you talking about Eastern European hater? You hate on both GGG and Loma. Loma has heart, hunger, power, chin and mental toughness plus great skill. That is why he is rated pound for pound the best fighter in the today including Pac. He cannot yet equal Pac's incredible record but nobody else fighting today can either,
You already made this stupid thread before. He is a small lightweight who fought at featherweight and has already move up twice and is fighting guys bigger than himself. He doesn't wake around at 154. Did you grab him and weigh him when he was walking around? You insult him by telling him to man up and fight at 147 when he is already giving up size and weight at 135. Don't be such a stupid hater. He already is a big star and he is already considered the best in the world pfp. The best guys at 147 would beat him only because he would be a midget welterweight and does not belong at that weight. At 135 or lighter he probably beats everyone and tough shyt if you don't like it.
Crawford and Loma now make 3+ million per fight. I don't think either of them are hurting LOL. They also have other endorsements with Mutual of Omaha for Crawford and Venom + Billionaire brands for Loma.
Sure we are seeing PPV fights as of late, but other than Canelo, is there any PPV stars out there? Maybe Manny still has some selling power, but other than them nope!
Apart from Mikey, there really is nobody from the lighter weights that could create a big fight.
He's stuck. He's on his way to becoming Crawford 2.0, promotional-wise. Go on to unify, after that there's nothing left. No names.
Either he goes back down to 130, or he goes up to 140 with pleny of names and possibilities. Ramirez, Prograis, Broner, Mikey, etc.
Too Small for THIS ERA of 147 :nonono:
140 would really be pushing it and that would be dangerous for him but yeah the harsh reality is the Biggest Superstars in boxing through out boxing History fought at 147-160 and Heavyweight
HOWEVER, things could change especially if Tank Davis popularity continues to grows which actually benefits HIM because if Tank Davis does become a SUPERSTAR then that means a fight between in vs Tank because a Mega Fight and he doesn't have to move up. So he needs Tank Davis, Shakur Stevenson, Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney he need all these guys to continue to raise their profile and he will have so many potential mega fights that he wouldn't have to move up
Great points
His max fighting weight could be 140 but I’m guessing I’m pushing it
But it would help if they start unifying the division
Loma can become a ppv player if he wins his fight with Campbell in a convincing way
Gets back on this side and pretty sure his next fight will be some kind of ppv

Playing it safe is the name of the game for Lomachick?
