Was a very competitive fight, interesting back and forth action with guys that can punch, are defensively pretty solid, but not too good defensively where they can avoid each other for 12 rounds.
I don't want to See Thurman relegated to fighting gatekeepers. Plus I can see it like this schedule lining up.
Crawford vs Whoever in late 2019
Spence vs Porter late 2019
Pacq/Thurman early 2020.
Crawford and Spence more than likely win.
Thurman or Pacquiao Winner goes on to fight in Spence in Middle 2020, with a welterweight undisputed fight in late 2020 against Crawford(after which Spence would move up per his words)
no rematch. at this point, pac cant afford to be offering mofos rematches. if manny continue on then bring on the big boys. pac dont have much time left to be wasting it on rematches, unless it's against floyd because win or lose manny wont get touch much.

It was a very close, highly entertaining, hotly contested and crowd pleasing fight. It was fight of the year candidate. Both fighters brought out the best in one another.
Pacquiao fights Spence then Crawford. Mayweather anytime if he comes out to play.
Then retire, nothing left to prove.
Lol fights thurman, spence and crawford?
Maybe should retire right now.
Why does Manny need to do another hard rematch just to take on Spence-Porter winner? He can directly go after them if he so wanted to.
Thurman can have more fights other than Manny. Garcia and Porter still want him to settle the score with them. Broner is calling him out, that would be good too. Horn is also a good option. Jessie Vargas called him out too.
I wouldn't mind it, but there are better fights out thereIt's a good enough fight but Pacquiao clearly won a grueling fight. If you were the 40 year old Pac at the end of your career would you want to try to fight a guy you just beat in what would be another hard fight or look for another good fighter to fight. Thurman isn't a gate keeper and can make good money fighting Broner, KOing Khan and fighting Danny and Mikey Garcia and getting another title shot if he keeps winning.

No my friend. I would like to see it too. Second time around and Keef wins it, imho.

Which fight would you prefer to see? I think it's 50/50 in terms of them giving Thurman a rematch. Plus, they did around 500k PPV buys, which is honestly around 150k more than I expected them to do. With proper/better promotion this time around they could do around 700k, Whoever wins can fight spence and more than likely will break 1m ppv buys. I don't usually discuss money but at this point in Manny's career i'm sure he doesn't mind tough fights as long as the money is right.
