Don't be fooled by this shenanigans.
The worst part of this is that UKAD popped Whyte for something that VADA seemingly missed.
To me it is clear that there is some nefarious forces at work here to try and brush a FAILED TEST under the rug. The forces at play are the UK bodies/establishment. The ironic part is that they obviously assumed VADA would have the same results, so set up this kangaroo "case" which was quickly settled and Dillian allowed to fight. But in reality if VADA had picked it up, the fight probably would have been cancelled.
UKAD and the BBBofC have been made to look shady and corrupt, and are clearly in Hearn and Sky's pocket. They may even get away with what they are trying to do, but in my opinion there is no excuses here. Anyone who can excuse Whyte for being caught a second time, after all the crap that gets talked about other fighters failing once, just laughable. Whyte himself is one of the most outspoken fighters and very quick to criticize other fighters who have popped dirty in the past.
Here is an article containing a transcript of a conversation overheard between Hearn and Whyte at the post-fight press conference, before the news even broke:

Clearly guilty folks. I just love the irony, the Matchroom fanboys who love to slander the Gypsy King over one of the shady-est UK drug bans in history... now what do they have to say? Two times! "The supplements doe!", "It was in the supplement doe!", "It was in the protein shake doe!" This also adds fuel to the fire regarding the theory that BBBofC were unfairly persecuting Fury to keep him from returning and taking the limelight from the golden child AJ.
Where did you see the transcript? Have been looking to read it.. please share if you can.. thanks
NEWSSPORT ADVERTISEMENT ‘A miracle’: Eddie Hearn and Dillian Whyte recorded talking about failed drug test after Oscar Rivas fight Whyte and Hearn were recorded talking at the post-fight press conference (Picture: The Sportsman) Share this article via facebookShare this article via twitter 124 SHARES Metro Sport Reporter Friday 26 Jul 2019 3:19 pm Dillian Whyte was remarkably caught on tape talking to Eddie Hearn about his failed drug test at a press conference after his victory over Oscar Rivas. Rivas was beaten by Whyte on points, but it has since emerged the Bodysnatcher failed a UKAD drugs test just days before the clash. An independent anti-doping panel cleared Whyte to fight on the day of the bout, but camera footage and audio appear to have caught Hearn and his fighter discussing the controversy in a room full of media. While news did not become public knowledge until Wednesday, Hearn confirmed he knew about the positive test when it happened, although the promoter did not tell Rivas or the WBC. ADVERTISEMENT Whyte can be heard telling Hearn he hasn’t slept since learning about the test results and his promoter admitted he was stunned to hear the fight could still go ahead. What was said… Whyte: ‘F****** hell.’ Hearn: ‘Alright, mate?’ Whyte: ‘F****** hell, Jesus Christ. I haven’t slept at all the last couple of days.’ Hearn: ‘Nor have I, but I didn’t have to fight.’ Whyte: ‘F***sake.’ Hearn: ‘Mate, that was the miracle of all miracles, wasn’t it?’ Whyte: ‘That’s the difference between being a professional…’ Hearn: ‘I had everything, I had a statement for you ready to go… and he just phoned me up and was like “we did it” and I was like “oh my God”.’ Whyte: ‘I need to keep my hair for some reason. It’s a f****** stitch-up, I passed tests in two days and then one in a million…’

Go on the World Boxing News website, they have an article about it just down the page a little, which contains the video of Eddie and Dillian's convo. For some reason their address is censored on here.
Cool thanks...
Because it’s a possibility. They don’t have endless pitiful of money. So they came to a deal with both Fury’s. But the facts were they both failed a drug test for PED.
UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) fears it could be made insolvent or require a government bailout over a dispute with Tyson Fury.
Former world heavyweight champion Fury tested positive for a banned steroid in June 2016, and says the adverse result came from eating uncastrated wild boar.
But a legal battle with Ukad over the evidence has meant Fury, 29, has not fought for two years.
Now senior figures at the agency are worried if he were cleared, Fury could sue for loss of earnings.

"Still failed a test doe!"
There was no real evidence. The knew they didn't have a case against the Furys.
Corruption in boxing has been around since day 1 of the sport. It is a revenue stream for all those involved, including boxing commissions and drug testing agencies. None of them will want the revenue streams to stop, so we all can expect certain situations to get swept under the rug. The sport is small enough though that gossip can be spread and reach everywhere. This is why they are in a sticky situation now. Info was leaked and now they are scrambling to create some damage control over what may have been an attempted coverup.
I just read the article you posted about the conversation Hearn and Whyte had.
Jesus :pat:

C'mon, they openly said they were scared of losing the case and being made bankrupt... :lol1:

Mate Fury and Fury were both drug cheats too, they lawyered up too like Whyte and UKAD didn’t have the funds to finish them off. Fact was both Fury’s were caugh with PED in their system.

Very well put!
These are FACTS that the haters will still dispute. "He got a ban doe!", "Juicer doe!" And now the tables have turned. :lol1:
The more you look into the Fury case, it becomes obvious they built up a seriously shaky case against them, then like you say, suddenly chit themselves and quickly brushed it under the carpet.

Clear cheating. The discussion between Hearn and Whyte at the post-fight presser should be evidence enough to anyone in doubt. Hearn's world is crumbling. :lol1:

I dunno if they were unfairly prosecuting Fury, but Fury was killing UKAD.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/boxing/2018/02/07/tyson-fury-botched-case-cost-ukad-7-entire-annual-budget/
The agency has revealed that the case against Fury and his cousin Hughie cost almost £600,000 in legal fees alone after being forced to disclose how much mainly-public money it ploughed into its botched prosecution of the pair.
The Furys accepted backdated two-year bans in December after testing positive for the steroid nandrolone in February 2015, on which they blamed eating uncastrated wild boar.
That was amid fears the case could effectively bankrupt Ukad, which has a budget of £8 million, if it lost and the boxers took legal action for loss of earnings.
It seems to me Fury made out like a gypsy king here. Fearing retaliation for the Furys, UKAD settled. The back dated 2 year ban was icing since it meant literally zero time in sanctioned hell for Fury.
Very well put!

That's not the way the world should work.
If any existing rules allowed this to happen then they should be changed to prevent it from ever happening again.
Yeah, absolutely. I don't think it particularly matters whether the sanctioning org is informed because it ain't really their jurisdiction, but I've repeatedly said that it's absolutely wrong that the opposing fighter isn't informed and given the opportunity to withdraw without prejudice pending a full investigation.... and it ain't just UKAD that has the policy turns out the VADA regs don't require 'em to inform the opponent either. Messed up state of affairs.
The dude that got the adverse finding has the right to due process, of course, but there's no way the opponent should potentially be put in harms way if the finding comes too close to the fight for a full investigation.
I am willing to wait and see what rationale UKAD and the BBBoC have used to justify their decision, but as a general principle I can't see any justification for not keeping the opposing fighter in the loop.

Most likely Whyte was juicing, but best I can tell all the bullchit around the BBBoC and UKAD allowing the fight has much to do with how close the adverse finding was to the fight and the insistence of UKAD following protocol... I will be interested to see what reasons they give for that decision and what facts ultimately come out, but it's kinda premature to be claiming corruption.
That said I'm quite sure that they will act in the interests of British promoters and fighters if they can do it in such a way that it isn't too blatantly contravening their rules and regs. That's just the way the world works, man.

completely..... how else would they even allow the fight to continue if the british themselves found out he was dirty prior to the fight?
nothing else makes sense besides corruption
If UKAD will clear British fighters to fight anyway, even when they pop dirty, is that not just another reason for foreign fighters not to fight in the UK? Do you not realise how corrupt that is?
Also, if what you said is true, why didn't they do the same for Tyson Fury? He got persecuted and demonized in the press for years with absolutely nobody fighting his corner, and why? Because he didn't have a big promoter? Ridiculous!
We don't know if it's corrupt yet, best I've been able to tell the worst UKAD and the BBBoC can be accused of at this time is following due process, I'm willing to wait until more details are released... maybe you should think about doing the same. I'm sure some fighters might use it as a reason to not fight over here, but far as I can tell our procedures are much the same as anywhere else - stricter in many ways, if anything.
With regards to the Fury case I know there have been many suggestions of irregularities but honestly I ain't really looked into it and I ain't minded to now. If you believe the dude got the ****ty end of the stick then fair enough... I don't know but I'd be entirely unsurprised - dudes whose promoters ain't in favour or who may have done something else to piss off their governing body are more likely to have decisions go against 'em regardless where in the world they are based. ****ty but true.
