There is a YouTube vid where Tyson lists some potential American opponents and he says he can't fight Martin because of how easily Joshua beat him.
Will be entertaining to see him and scumbag warren try to spin this one.
I like this as a stay busy for fury. Martin redeemed himself for me in his kownacki fight. He atleast showed some fighting spirit. If martin has a good camp this fight could go some rounds
Agreed! I was at the Kownacki/Martin fight and it was a good effort by Martin. I thought Kownacki would take him out. This is a good choice for Fury.
You know Fury turned that fight down for a belt he requested which was a diamond one right ?:lol1:
Secondly Whyte just fought he cant possibly be able to fight Fury by the time its even possible now at the date Fury is seeking..jesus christ . :lol1:
Sorry Juggernutter, I forgot that you take everything Fury says literally.
As a fan of boxing, I wanted to see Fury in the ring against Whyte at some point in the future, it didn't have to be right now.
Seriously dude, stop replying to my posts, I cba dealing with your lunacy.
i'd like to see Ortiz vs Fury.
This would be a very entertaining fight.
Probably the two best heavyweights in terms of pure technical skill. We know Fury is vulnerable to knockdowns (down four times as a pro) and we know Ortiz has power, but Fury has the massive range and height advantages and about ten years worth of youth on his side.

I think it's Martin simply so they can say Fury beat "a former world champion".
But yeah, I'd much rather see someone like Parker, Povetkin, Pulev, Kownacki, etc. Even a prospect like Kabayel, Wallin, Hrgovic, or Hunter would be better than Martin, but it's unlikely their respective teams want them taking an L right now.
Fury vs Hrgovic would be a nice fight in a year or so, but I don't think Filip is ready for him yet
If Fury struggles you will be the FIRST guy on here claiming how good a win it was against a tough southpaw, but you can call him shyte for now at least. :lol1:
As if Fury would struggle against Charles Martin. :lol1: :lol1:
I didn't gloat about Fury beating that German dude, I just said that Fury did what he was supposed to do, look sensational against an overmatched opponent. Its not Tysons fault Joshua got beaten up and stopped by a fat man he was supposed to destroy.
As I've told you many times, no HW boxer is on Fury's level. The only man who has a chance of beating him is Deontay Wilder, and that's only due to Wilders insane power.
I'll take your word that Washington is better than Martin, but let's be honest, neither of them win a round against Fury.
It's a shame that ESPN are insisting on an American opponent. I'd like to see Parker get the shot.

I think the difference is that Martin has looked completely horrible for over three and a half years. The last time he looked vaguely decent was winning his vacant belt against an opponent who hasn't fought since.
Helenius may be shot, but right now I'd still pick him to beat Martin. And Washington's win over him is arguably better than any win Martin has.

I believe Martin was my top choice awhile back and ……..decent fight we'll see how good Martin is here. Don't think its an easy fight at all for Fury .
- -Martin get to do crack btw rds?
Is there really much difference between the likes of Washington, Martin, Breazeale etc?
Not really, they're all s***.
Washington knocked out a shot to bits Helenius who was never any good to begin with, I didn't see the fight, but I believe Washington was losing before landing his big punch?

Back by popular demand!
You get boxing and a Wayne Newton, Tom Jones like performance on the Strip in the same show.
Sold more tickets at the MGM in his Vegas debut than Wilder - war Fury !:D
Washington is better and he's coming off a decent win.
Breazeale is better but he may not have collected all the marbles Wilder knocked out of his head yet.

No issue with this as long as the Wilder fight happens after it.
People will cry about Fury's opponent, but who else is there? All American HW's other than Wilder are rubbish.
