The 40-year-old Filipino Manny Pacquiao wrote another improbable chapter in his glittering career on Saturday, with an age-defying split decision victory over the hitherto unbeaten Keith Thurman. Pacquiao, a full decade older than the 30-year-old Thurman, rolled back the years with a vintage performance that had a sold out crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena roaring in delight. Yeah, you noticed that too. Roach loves to be in the center of the limelight. That said, Roach maybe right. Floyd doesn't want a rematch. Floyd was spooked out!
After Pac winning the Thurman fight. Floyd was at ringside the whole show, but when it was time for the announcement of the winner. Floyd ran back to the dog-out in fear Pac might call him out for a rematch lolololol
Floyd didn't want to be called out for a rematch so he headed out before the event was even finished :lol1:
Whether he’s right or wrong , I still believe he should let the boxer answer questions of that sort
Always liked Roach but he is becoming a little annoying
that fight will flop I think.
It won't Flop. It won't do 4M but it will do 2M at the least, but yes the rematch will still stink if that happened since Floyd will be running around throwing love taps and clinch fouling every chance he can. The result a marathon huggathon borefest that will cure insomnia PART 2.
Honestly speaking Roach should just shut the fugh up
Like only a couple months ago he was not sure to be part of the team ; just would want a comment like that answered from the boxers
I just don’t think it’s his place to answer thatf

it's been about 4 years and your are still crying :bottle:
lol who's crying? I'm just exposing the truth for the world to see. This is a thread about why Floyd is ducking a rematch again? Right?
Truth hurts. Nothing was concluded in that stinky azz fight that cured insomnia. The world knows it. That fight was a disappointment to even be called a super fight.
Do you know that famous line Roger Mayweather likes to say?
IF you don't want to believe my facts. Here's From Roger Mayweather AKA YDKSAB! Floyd's uncle and go to coach. You should at least listen to the man.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B-pZRPyUAAMUJ2c.jpg
Roger was talking about a rematch. Sadly his nephew after 2015 didn't have the balls to do it one more time just as how greats fought on trilogies or at least a rematch.. Floyd got soft. fear can do that to a fighter.. I can't blame Floyd for hiding. Pac is a beast.
Uncle Roger (Floyd Jr. Trustworthy Uncle) says:
Roger Mayweather says Floyd has got to beat Manny Again earn respect from boxing fans

If you can't link, just go to, on the ropes boxing.com, interview is all there.
Roger Mayweather: Floyd's legacy is going to be good but he needs to close that legacy with Pacquiao. He needs to go back and him and Pacquiao need to do it again. Thats what I think. To close the door in terms of victory, thats what he needs to do.
Jenna J: If Floyd does that, where does that put him amongst the greats?
Roger Mayweather: That would put him amongst the greatest fighters, but Floyd had a good, long legacy anyways. He will be amongst some of the greatest fighters but hes got to close the thing with Pacquiao before he ever does that, because thats one of the known guys that people respect and I think thats the guy that he's gonna have to beat or have to show something with.
Even Roger Mayweather knows Floyd didn't conclude anything that night.
Roach knows there's unfinished business here.
In this forum alone. Floyd fan boys defending Floyd's legacy over Pac rivalry.
Sadly, Floyd can't grow a pair and is too old to fight Pac anymore. The guy is rusty and corroded. Floyd is a has been that can't fight no more.
Blame it on Floyd Floyd groupies. His ship has sailed far south.
it's been about 4 years and your are still crying :bottle:
Floyd's schooling of manny will be on many minds for a long long time
So schooled Floyd's father wanted him to retire after the fight lol
Floyd Mayweather Sr. after the fight :
@ 1:50 mark Floyd senior said about floyd's time to retire: 'When you can't do what you use to do it's time.' referring to his son
He knew his son dont have it anymore lmao.. He saw his son fight like a ******

Floyd's schooling of manny will be on many minds for a long long time
So Schooled Floyd had to issue an apology lol

So schooled Floyd's own father saw him fight scared lol
So Schooled Floyd wanted a rematch but never could go back lol
‼️ Floyd Mayweather has sensationally claimed that he is going to return in December for a REMATCH with Manny Pacquiao after meeting him face-to-face in Japan last night.️ "I’m coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year. If Mayweather miss manages his money as most pro athletes do, he will return to the sport for a cash grab. Both are or will be in their 40’s so the ‘getting old’ is a moot point at this time. Not sure FM even wants to face a game MP in full health.
I would love to see the Floyd and Pacquiao rematch now that Pacquiao beat Thurman. It would be very intriguing. Also if Pac was to somehow beat Spence before fighting Floyd again, that would probably sell their rematch almost as profitable as the first.
lol If Pac beats Spence.
That will put Pac in the highest echelons of boxing.
That's already the exclamation point. No need for a rematch if Pac accomplishes that feat. Actually Pac doesn't need a rematch.
It's Floyd who needs the rematch not Manny. Floyd fought like he was in a track meet mixed with a ball room sonata that wasn't really required in a super fight of this magnitude.
It was so bad that he needed to issue an apology for stinking up a supposed epic show down.
It's really for him, but as you can see.. He can't seem to be brave enough to lace it up. He ducked too long. At this point if he fights Pac. He will get fuvked up. No one to blame but himself.

FLOYD has been fighting since age 5. He has beaten over 22 champs. He has never loss. He has made more $$ than any other fighter in history. He is now enjoying his life outside of boxing. PAC looks more pathetic as he continues to beg the soon to be 43 yr old FLOYD for another payday!!!
It’s actually the other way around. Floyd waited for an old Pac-Man.

Floyd won so clearly that he apologized to all of us for that fight. :lol1:

A second fight won't even matter especially a rusty Floyd who got older. He'll just look old and brittle and will be in for more running and huggin' No need for that. Waste of HYPE.
The real hype is Pac going for the impossible. Fighting the new top welterweights of this generation. That's a must see TV. That's history being made. Just to see if Pac can pull it off is a worth the PPV for how much can Pac add to his legacy.
No one wants to see that shyit fight again.
