It was great to see Manny get an outstanding win yesterday against a top guy in Thurman. Manny now is somewhere between 6-15 P4P depending on what you like. But as we see Manny at 40, still performing near his best ever, and think back to the Mayweather fight, where he was schooled 118-110 when he was in his prime at 36, and Floyd at 38 was a bit past it. I think we really need to appreciate just how great Floyd, aka the goat, was. 50-0 TBE.
That's not true. The commission wasn't told a thing. They stopped his doctor in the act of trying to shoot him up with toradol.
And he also didn't tell the testing agency anything. He asked them if toradol use was illegal.
The NSAC doctors interviewed Pac's surgeon in the dressing room and examined Manny, determining that there was no proof of an injury and the surgeon stated himself that Pac was at full strength going into the fight and did NOT need the shot.
Pacquiao’s advisors notified the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency of the injury, according to the statement, and detailed the “treatments being proposed,” including a possible injection of the anti-inflammatory Toradol, a non-steroidal prescription medication.
Pacquiao attorney David Marroso said USADA informed the camp that Toradol did not require a Therapeutic Use Exemption to be used in the in-competition period.
The medications were listed on a pre-fight medical form
so you see what happened? they stopped him from using something that was legal while letting floyd do something that was clearly illegal. now you see why pacs team was so hesitant to hand over power to floyd and a program they were unfamiliar with? they got scared so they didnt do anything that they would normally do. floyd meanwhile knew he could just use tue's to cover everything he did. floyd actually used the drug testing as a way to gain an advantage when its supposed to make things "fairer" it was brilliant. a mastermind plan when you think about it.
Floyd’s accolades are just as hard earned. Let’s not forget that.
Of course they are. All I'm saying is each fighter had to endure their own trials and tribulations in order to reach their legendary status.
he said something to the commision/drug testing agency but was denied relief. meanwhile floyd was given TUE's for things he shouldnt have been allowed to do. oh yeah and pac still lande the much better punches so not sure how that equals a schooing but tribalism is a real thing so pretty sure thats how
So if he really said something to the commision the fight would've been postponed. Theres no relief if your shoulder is torn. And you wouldn't be throwing punches the way he was if it was torn. Bs excuses
he said maybe it was our fault. do you know what the word maybe means? also if you actually look at the sequence of events you could see that the testing was never the issue because the fight still didnt happen when it was agreed to. it was just a bluff to buy time. we have proof of that because the fight didnt happen after floyd got his testing so its absurd to pretend they would have fought in 2010. floyd just would have changed the money demands like he did after manny agreed to testing. he did the same thing when winky agreed to fight him. big talk. no action.
What about right before Floyd went to jail? I know guys like you pretend this never happened but Manny was ok to fight when it looked like Floyd was going to jail.
Soon as Nevada delayed the start date so he could fight in May, manny suddenly got the stitches ( for a cut from 4 months earlier that didn’t need stitches) from Arum’s future son in law and he avoided the fight.
Roach also admitted they delayed the fight.
So it’s cool to hate Floyd but just don’t leave this part out.
That's not what Freddie Roach said :lol1:

Manny's win has absolutely zero relation with Mayweather or any of his accomplishments. Floyd is retired, has only had 2 sideshow type fights since his formal boxing retirement against Berto, and has nothing to with Manny's career since their dull fight came and went 4 years ago.
Manny has kept on keeping on and has continued to establish his own legacy and enrichening his history. His accomplishment last night is outstanding, his resume is long and storied, he was and has always been a blood and guts warrior, and the fact that he scratched a major name in the WW division off the list at 40 is inspiring.
So although Floyd has a win over Pacman, that win doesnt give Floyd any right over Manny's hard earned accolades.
Floyd’s accolades are just as hard earned. Let’s not forget that.
Fact of the matter is Manny lost. Him being so called injured and didnt say anything for the sake of the fans was his problem and not Floyd's. Mayweather came out and did what he had to do and that was win. Guys on here wanna talk ducking who remembers was back in 2011. Floyd simply asked to take a test and lets fight. Manny: "I'm afraid of needles." That was the most laughable excuse ever because for him to say that and have tattoos really looked suspect.

Mayweather ducked a Prime Pacquiao.
Fought a injured Pacquiao, who was denied an legal shot.
While Mayweather took a banned IV used for masking PED use.
In the fight, Floyd touch jabbed ran and hugged.
Pacquiao landed more meaningful and hurtful blows.
To me ducking is far worse than taking an L
Typical of this SJW culture where you cowards praise ducking.
The better Pacquiao resume gets, the better Mayweathers win looks. That's basic common sense, to try and deny it is stupid.
Not necessarily true. Styles make fights and that's how the story unfolded in their boring ass fight.
So does Jeff Horn's win over Pacquiao make him a beast now that Pacquiao beat Thurman?
Is Marquez that much greater now that Manny beat Thurman since he has a brutal KO win over Pacman, not just a decision?

Spot on Robbie Barrett. And I'm not taking away what Manny has done. 2nd best fighter of his era P4P. And was also in more exciting fights than Mayweather, but let's not take away that Mayweather was without a doubt the best of his time and possibly the best ever.
Even in the Mayweather GYM they are calling Pacquiao Mayweather the biggest Robbery.
Here's the story..
Jeff Mayweather ask the first dude on the left what was the biggest Robbery?
His answer was Bradley Pac 1.
Jeff then ask his bro, Floyd Sr what was the biggest Robbery in boxing history?
A BOXER in the TMT GYM goes, PACQUIAO MAYWEATHER!
:lol1:
EVEN IN THE TMT GYM THEY KNOW IT WAS A FLUKE WIN LOL

Looking back at that robbery fight.
That fight was a cure for insomnia.
It was so Bad Floyd had to issue an apology for that Fluke win.
straight from the horses mouth:
Floyd Mayweather: " I owe them for the Pacquiao fight "

Even in Spain, they saw Pac winning. (@ 14:00 mark, BOXING EXPERTS AT THE END OF THE VIDEO ALL FOR PAC)
Both Pac and Mayweather weren’t in their primes when they fought in 2015, but it does make you wonder how great Mayweather was. At 38 to make it look easy, and Pac is still going at 40 years against all these younger boxers.
