Not really. Brant tried to exchange with him and not use his movement. It’s obvious that if Brant wants to win that 3rd fight he’s got to move and not get into a slugfest. Murata's biggest issue his whole career is that he's too hesitant. Picks his shots too much waiting for the perfect opening. It's why Brant's style worked so well in the first fight. The fact that Murata even exchanged with Brant shows that the issue was corrected. IMO. But we'll see in the rubber match.

It’s a good fight, entertaining match up. Hope Murata can defend his title this time

Brant has a lot of stamina. If he is a one trick pony he is going to get beat again. If he can jab and keep turning Murata and then step it up in the second half of the fight he has a chance. I don't know if Brant can adjust.

I ain't got around to watching this fight yet. Wtf happened to Brant here to get wacked in 2? And again even if Brant won the 1st fight I still hate an immediate rematch when you got blasted in your most recent fight to the same guy. he got hurt bad and never tried to hold, he kept getting tagged. don't know what he was thinking honestly

F#ck me. Brant has no clue what to do when hurt cept keep fighting like he was except with less defense. He needed to move around a lil more. Shame to cuz he kept a fast pace early, but it seems like the only person he wore out was himself. If the ref had ended the fight at the KD I don't think anyone would have complained. Instead he decided to let Murata get some cardio in and land 76 uninterrupted shots on Brant.

Immediately after the first fight Murata said he has problems with fighters that move. That should be the confirmation on how to deal with him in the 3rd fight. He literally admitted his Achilles heel and also confirmed it with that loss. But then he corrected that issue.

Awsome. Brant was a big underdog against Murata the first time but he won. Then in the rematch almost everybody was saying Murata would get smashed but he won easy. I really have no idea who would win in a trilogy. I'm looking forward to it.

Brant threw a tepid amount of punches in the 2nd round, its like his plan was to wait for Murata to punch himself out. For once Pabon didn't do too bad of a job of refereeing the fight but that's only because Murata finished the fight early.

Those body shots softened him up and made him vulnerable to the head shots. Murata stuck to his body attack and it paid off.

This is the only fight out there for Brant. He doesn't have some big promoter behind him with a TV contract to milk. I don't think the third fight will look like the first two, honestly. Brant came in wayyyy too confident and wanted to trade with Murata when Murata came out aggressive, which was a suicide move. The most nail-biting moments in the first fight came is when Brant stayed in the pocket and briefly traded with Murata. He needs to put his balls in his pocket and focus on boxing in the third fight.

I feel like Brant is jumping into this too soon. Didn't Murata wait a bit before using his rematch clause? I assume Murata studied the Brant fight and figured out what went wrong and then activated his rematch clause. He really should take a bit of time off.
