Khan once again effortlessly outclassed and destroyed another former world champion, just like he did Paulie, Judah, Maidana, Alexander and Pacquiao (allegedly, in sparring) all those years ago. With Crawford getting a gift from the ref after he desperately resorted to vicious illegal low-blows on Khan, is it time to overlook those sneaky shenanigans which secured Crawford a highly suspect W, and instead reinstate Khan back to the very top of the 147 division where he was avoided for many years by the likes of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Bradley, Broner and Marquez?
Khan takes a lot of stick, but I've always liked him, he's an odd mix of great and bad. Very fast hands - terrible footwork. below average chin - stacks of heart to fight till he's completely out (low blow aside vs Crawford where I feel Khan was trying to get away with a no contest result) Loses a fight - beats an average fighter then calls out a star name - Mayweather, Pac, Crawford - He's hilariously deluded. Gets paid a fortune to fight a recently retired journeyman who looked about 5 weight divisions below him, that's awesome work on his part.
And I'd still like to see Khan vs Manny. I'd take Manny by KO. and I think it could be a good way for both guys to go out. This is assuming Manny loses to Thurman, though I don't know, Thurman didn't look good in his last fight compared to before the injury/layoff, we'll see. And Khan, was not elite, has had a good enough career to say that he has been a world class boxer. And on Khan vs Brook, I'd edge toward prime Khan, but Brook now.

Why would Crawford be desperate? He effortlessly outclassed and destroyed Khan from the first round to the end. Khan wasn't hurt by the accidental blow to his leg. He just didn't want to get beat up anymore so he quit. You shouldn't insult a great champion like Crawford to try to build up a lousy fighter like Khan.

Khan effortlessly destroyed Maidana like hell. He almost go KOed and would have been KOed without the ref's help. The only guy who says Khan beat Pacquiao in sparring is Khan. Khan wouldn't last 6 rounds with Pacquiao. You need to give up on Khan. Picking on a washed up old featherweight. He should be ashamed.
The guy was a FEATHERWEIGHT champion once about 7 years ago and he lost that title next fight. It was an unbelievable cherry pick that proves nothing. Crawford beat the hell out of Khan every round and Khan could have continued from the accidental punch to his thigh but he quit. Khan is not a top welterweight and has never defeated a welterweight ranked in the top 40. Khan stinks now. He was good with Roach training him but not today.

I don't know about all that but I wouldn't mind seeing Khan get another shot. I enjoy watching him get beat the hell up.
