Had they offered Kov what they gave Jacobs, we wouldnt be having this correspondence! One of them even offered to fight Canelo at 168 Crickets There is also Callum Smith at 168, who holds the "super" version of Canelo's WBA SMW title. Canelo said he wanted to fight Smith. Smith responded by telling him to either send an offer or STFU. Canelo STFU.

Well, Kovalev is older, still a name, a bit war torn, still has a belt etc. He ticks all the boxes for 175 (Once he gets restricted to 171/172). Exactly. Bivol can comfortably make 168 so that’s a huge no. Gvozdyk is dangerous too. And Canelo would get decapitated by Beterbiev. I must be ill, because I agree with you re Canelo moving up to 168 and fighting Smith, who is a very good fighter. And TALL. I could not care less about a unified MW belt, because I dont ever want to see Andrade fight again. Let him keep his damn belt. Canelo beats Smith, then fights Kovalov? If he wins at LHW, that would be historic. He gains nada fighting Andrade. he would technically become the undisputed unified middleweight champion of the world a historical feat that Golovkin spent 12 years of his life attempting imho, if Canelo goes the undisputed route, then he still needs to fight Charlo..... because Charlo is a real champion now, right?..... why go for all the marbles, but then leave one sitting on the table? but if no Andrade, then Charlo does not matter either..... because Canelo is already the #1 ranked middleweight..... so becoming undisputed is really the only way to go, other than moving up to 168 in my perfect world..... Andrade > Charlo > Smith > Benavidez then maybe fight Golovkin at 168, other established champs at 168, or head north for Kovalev/etc
