How far could this dude have gone? I don't think i've ever seen this dude get outboxed by anyone. Hes such a talented and gifted fighter, but cursed with a glass chin
Khan got outboxed by everyone who knocked him out. He throws punches super quick which takes his opponents awhile to adjust to, and then they time him and knock him out. He’s not a great boxer
If he had a chin like jcc, he would have an early career with long sustained beatings.
Dude gets figured out quickly and gets tagged hard with big shots.
He’s got quick hands but shocking boxing IQ
Hell, Canelo won most of the rounds or all the rounds to me. Peterson beat him on points. Crawford outboxed him every round. With a Chavez chin he would be very good but not the best. Guys like Spence and Crawford would still beat him.

I think this commercial from my childhood
Says it all.khan gets his block knocked off..

I was surprised when he fought Crawford and threw the towel in because of a "low blow". Pros have a super thick cup, and it looked like Crawford glazed the inside of his thigh but not his crotch area.
I believe he used it as an excuse just to quit, but I remember when he was getting hyped up like he was the next Pacman
I don’t get this “never been outboxed” thing
If you get timed with shots and hurt/stopped, you got outboxed. That’s a big part of boxing.
The reason he never lost decisions apart from Peterson is because the top fighters he faced stopped him before it got to that point. He never got stopped just because he had a bad chin. He got stopped because he wasn’t on their level.
They weren’t lucky punches. His weak fundamentals got him timed.
I can tell that you dont box and have never boxed. He schooled canelo before his chin once again betrayed him.
Canelo looked confused for most of the fight, and overwhelmed with the speed. 'I believe at some point in the fight, he realized that his only chance of winning was to time Khan, and land a power shot' Which he did, so all credit to him for that adaptation.
Canelo knew that his time would come and capitalized. 'Khan could not control his own instinct and temperament to fight'.
If anything he massively overachieved with favorable match ups.
All he does is dart forward with clumsy feet and a poor judgement of distance pushing punches like a little kid button bashing on Fight Night.
I'm surprised he achieved what he has really he's not particularly talented, athletic or well schooled and it seriously becomes evident everytime he goes past 4-5 rounds and slows a fraction.
He'd still have poor fundamentals, stamina issues and a poor ring IQ
He can't adjust or adapt, has no inside game and does everything wrong when hurt. Anytime a fighter commits to the body he losses shape.
Even with a great chin he'd be just a great four round fighter.
Danny Garcia figured him out after a few rounds. He was getting outboxed by Cris Algieri.
Got mangled on the inside by Peterson. Crawford easily outboxed him and looked bored in there.
He overwhelms fighters with tremendous handspeed putting them in a shell, he's not and never was a great boxer.
- -Canelo broke him down every rd.
Khan do as well as you with Forrest Gumps box of chocolates brain.
I can tell that you dont box and have never boxed. He schooled canelo before his chin once again betrayed him.
The myth that Khan doesn’t lose rounds is just that... a myth. Khan after a couple of rounds was soundly getting beaten by Canelo. Max Kellerman said “Now Canelo is outboxing khan.. Khans attempts are hitting air, and Canelos are landing flush.” Around round 5.
