you give out of your heart!! you dont choose to give when you feel its right. otherwise that wouldnt come from your heart!!! it dont matter what they do with that money. if you're worried about that then you aint doing it for the right thing playa.
This.
A lot of people who think they are good people really aren't.
I feel the same. Pac looked kinda stupid there. I've bought people food, offered them work. Just giving money to guys who are making no clear effort to work or better themselves is a mistake, IMO. He should read his Bible a little more closely, Mathew 4:19. Jesus is walking near the shore of the Sea of Galilee, when he sees two brothers, Simon and Andrew, throwing out their fishing nets. Jesus says them, "follow me and I will make you fishers of men."
Pac's a good guy. I really like him. But, I think he can also be detached at times.
Youre religious? If you are then you should read your Bible closely
“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” ~Jesus Source: Matthew 6:2-4 (ESV)
Don't got me wrong Pacquiao especially needs to re-read the Bible since he did this in another country on Showtime All Access before the AB fight. 😂
&
I get what you're saying though like it won't benefit them if they're still not with a roof over their head, employed or if they become a target like when Adrien Broner gave a $1,000 away & the homeless guy who got it was beat up and robbed.
Thats the thing most of them are mentally not right they can’t work.
There's too many of them in L.A. to believe that they ALL have mental problems.
For those that really do a little bit of physical labor in the fresh air and sunshine might even be therapeutic.
If I was down on my luck I would be fighting like hell to climb out of the hole. Being on drugs just makes a bad situation worse.
Fuck the permissive druggie culture in the U.S..
And I've always felt that a good solution to the homeless problem is to send them to special ranches/farms where they can set up tents and stay as long as they want. The only caveat is that they have to help pick crops or take care of the animals, which is where their food would come from.
Outlaw them living in the streets and require that all homeless must work in these agricultural shelters. I bet at least half of them would suddenly find a job.

You’re a sad human, they’re depressed and hopeless the drugs help them escape their reality if you were mentally ill with no family or money you would be on drugs too.

I was homeless and I never once begged, or sat on a corner like a bum. I went and found a place that would hire me and I worked as much as they'd let me. I rode a bicycle with flat tires for several miles every day to work until I scraped up enough money to get back on my feet. I was also diagnosed bipolar with OCD and did not have access to medication so my mental state was beyond torturous.
Maybe next time, STFU instead of acting like a little princess and saying no one gets to talk about being homeless.
I’m not going to say you are lying but there seems to be a lot missing from your story like where you found this job. I can tell you for a fact jobs that will hire mentally ill homeless men are nearly nonexistent here in LA. You would starve before you found a job like that. Also, if you were the person you say you were, Manny putting $100 in your hand would have made a very positive difference in your life. Once again, no matter what your experience may or may not have been, Pacquiao had an experience every bit as real as yours. Calling him naive is laughable.
Also, god forbid you should ever fall on hard times like that again but in the event, it’s easier to walk than ride a bike with flat tires.
Shut your BLM punks ass up, lame. Don’t ever compare that ghetto thug to Pac-Man. Typical street thug. Go drank your purple drank and get lost
I genuinely like Pac but his fanbase consists of the dumbest fuks on this site. And, a lot of them are racist tw@ts. Every time I say anything critical of Pac I get responses from worthless trash like you who have to throw race into it. It doesn't bother me, it only shows how genuinely stupid you are and how sad your life must be.
I have to laugh at some of this criticism of a guy who knows what it’s like to be on the street with no money or shelter. Sure a lot it the money he gives will not be put to good use but for someone who has never been homeless to call someone who has had that experience naive is laughable.

And the truth is that they are not all on drugs. Saying that obsolves the person saying it (in their own mind anyway)of any responsibility, as a fellow human, to help.
Wow! That is absolutely amazing. Manny has a huge heart; Which is full of compassion and love for his fellow man. He has a very humble spirit. He's one Hell of a fighter and one Hell of a man. He makes the Filipino people proud of him everywhere.
Don't give money to those bums in L.A., Manny.
It only encourages them to stay jobless and doing drugs.

Manny has paid for the construction of thousands of homes for poor Filipinos.
When he began his career, he was living in the streets. He knows what it's like.
Manny is a great fighter and a great human being. what did that POS payweather ever do for poor blacks?? Oops I forgot it is the white mans job to pay for poor blacks
you couldn't even read the first sentence of my post. I said he's very charitable and i don't question that. Get your tongue out of the dude's ass.
