It definitely would make a difference with Floyds stamina issues
people seem to be ignoring that he is notorious for always BADLY losing round 12......
IF they were fighting 15 rounds champ matches. would they have as many Ws?
15 round fights suit manny.
they dont suit floyd.
he is always dead tired late in fights and notorious for badly losing round 12.
A good analogy would be team sports playoffs
Easier to get an upset in 3 game or 5 game series than in a 7 game series
That's why NCAA basketball tournament has so many upsets
Anyone can get lucky in 1-2 games, harder in a 7 game series
Same with boxing
Easier to get an upset in a 4-6-8 round fight
But in 12 round fights, upsets are more rare
Hard to steal 7 rounds from a superior talent
Easier for both
They'd have more kos
The good fighters have a hard time keeping up with great fighters
They might be able to hang a few rounds but itd be exhausting
That's why these guys that have a few rounds with floyd and pac have nothing left at the end
As max kellerman loves to say, "class tells over time"
15 rounders make it easier for the superior talent
Both would still exceed, they took their craft and careers very seriously!
Both are ultra competitors so they likely would work even smarter and better than anyone else still!
Never seen either man tired in their primes especially past it!
Just two exceptional professionals in their profession!
They are both 15 round fighters, if anything 12 rounds probably hurt them. You could include Froch in that and a handful of others from the past 10-15 years.
Still the same... TBE (not The Best Ever) will still win... An additional 3 rounds won't heal GrandPac's shoulder and won't decrease TBE's (not The Best Ever) clinch rate...
I don't see any difference. They were usually way ahead at the conclusion of their fights and were both always in great shape as well so nothing changes.
